Solterra Event Center

Attended a wedding reception here this past weekend. It was gorgeous! The wedding itself wasn't done here. But I've seen pics of weddings here. It's amazing! There were two separate areas. One was to house the food. The other was to house the attendees. It was a good set up. The backdrop to the bride and grooms table was a gorgeous fireplace. The drinks were set up outside. The reception was done indoor since it started at 6pm. The inviting infinity pool was there to admire. I heard that they offer their own suggestions as far as catering any events you have in mind. The staff for this particular reception were professional but warm and friendly.

Beautiful location for a wedding ceremony and reception. Vows were exchanged on a stepped hill and the party continued above on a terrace. There's a bell tower, too!

Beautiful event center for a wedding. The outdoor scenery and the drive in is very scenic, and the decor of the event center is nice on its own. We came for a December wedding, so both ceremony and reception were held indoors. The space is on the smaller side, probably ideal for no more than 70-80 people, amd the room will have to be flipped for the reception. Vows were exchanged in front of a fireplace, which was fitting for winter.

We had a wedding take place here in September. The venue itself is gorgeous. It is decorated in stone and brick walls, has a bell tower, arches, an inside and outside fire place, stepped amphitheater, bridal suite, large kitchen and bar, and reminds you of little Italy. The lighting and colors create a romantic ambiance with mountains and a glimpse of red rocks in the back ground. This venue is great for events inside and out, making a weather plan b extremely easy to execute if you plan correctly. The staff was nice and they have a list of recommended vendors to work with. Also, we had 170 people attend the wedding and were able to use the space wisely to make everyone comfortable. The only unfortunate thing would be that only the space is offered. You must work with/hire outside parties to string lights (or do it yourself), place steps, remove furniture, etc. Communication got a little hazey when calling to ask questions about the venue or our contract and speaking to someone different on a number of occasions. Other than that, we loved the outcome, even in the pouring rain!

I love this venue, however they have a guy at the front desk doing bookings I think his name is Phil. We are booking a End Of Life celebration for my daughter who died and the guy has about as much compassion and heart as a blank wall. I would suggest they replace people that are heartless with people that have some kind of emotion if somebody is coming in there to plan a memorial service.
