This is a fun park just behind the main street in downtown Manitou. There's metered parking, but that's the whole area there and it can't be avoided. There are some large rocks to climb upon in the back of the park that my kids enjoy the most and a wine tasting place at the opposite end. There are a few play structures and some large disc swings that get a lot of attention. I like to go by the creek and watch the water.

This is a little park located on the end of the strip in Manitou Springs. It has metered street parking around its perimeter and a small creek runs down one side of it. It is not a huge park but has enough to keep you busy for awhile. The have a decent sized pavilion with a stage, but it did not have any tables under it, so many local skateboarders were using it as a skate park. There is some playground equipment that includes some tunnels, a couple of saucer swings, a medium sized jungle gym with a bridge and slides, a very small net climber, some rocks to climb on and a Supernova spinning ring. The equipment looks to be in great repair and is spread out throughout the park. You will find a few small picnic tables here that do not have any cover and there are a few benches outside of the gate to sit on and watch traffic go by. The park seems to be well maintained and the flowing creek has a soothing type effect. This is a decent park especially considering that it is located in a tourist district. As a few reviewers have mentioned, the park usually has an urban camper or two, but they are harmless. This is a nice park to pass some time at if you are in the area, but i do not see anyone spending a lot of time there. This is definitely not a destination park.

Soda Springs Park in Manitou can be found at the confluence of two streams, on the North end of the shopping district and right next to the Mate Factor and the main road. What this means is that it is easily accessible. Now what makes Soda Springs Park exceptional is that for all this it still is not over-crowded and has some fun park equipment, and benches over-looking the creeks. It's a great place for kids or for a stroll, and is a central aspect of what makes Manitou so appealing to me. A city without good parks is not a city at all, but a concrete jungle.

This park is about the saddest park I've ever seen. There's no landscaping really. It's located nicely along the water and ought to be nice but it's like no one has thought about it in decades. Bare muddy patches and dirty benches and tables? I'm surprised the town actually holds events here and yet doesn't seem to care that it feels so tired and ugly. No wonder the transient potheads think this is a good place to take a nap and beg. If it's money that's the problem, then may I suggest encouraging the Cliff House to step up and tend it. The difference between their simple gardens just yards away is striking.

Finally someone made playground equipment adults can enjoy. The large round swings are perfect for two. Walkable from anywhere in Manitou and close to the wonderful Dutch Kitchen (buttermilk pie!) and Mate Factor. Also the location of Manitou's Midweek Market.

It's a beautiful park, but there are a few homeless people scattered around. I'm sure they are mostly harmless, just be sure to watch your kids!

Its a park, it's clean, and lacks any seedy element. Sorry that I don't have a long soliloquy to write on this one, but it is what it is and I like it. Great place in the summer to sit, relax, and cool off. Great location too!

This is a great park and interactive playground. The swings here are awesome and are a circular plate where several kids can fit on together. There are only two though and everyone wants to ride so we had to wait in line! There is a big slide and a couple of other pieces of moving equipment. Our 2 year old loved it!

My kids love this park. They practically beg us to take them there. I like it better when there aren't kids/teens skateboarding on the pavillion, but there isn't anything to be done about it.It'd get 4 stars if there were 2 slides.
