While driving back to Denver, I needed to pull over and let my decongestant kick in (driving through the passes with a blocked ear is no fun!)We happened to be passing Copper Mountain, and saw a Conoco ahead. As we pulled in, we saw an adjoining coffee shop. We went in and I was immediately put at ease. There were lots of comfy seating options, and tons of natural light pouring in. I ordered a hot tea (they feature Tazo brand), then went over to sit on the big black couch across from the fireplace. They had lots of crayons and a few board game options. Lots of art on the walls, and oh, the plants! I love businesses that have love plants in them. After about 15 minutes, I was feeling better, so we hopped back in the car and got back on the road. I am so thankful for such a comfortable place to take a quick rest.

Stopped for a cup of coffee for the final part of our road trip. I ordered two cups of drip coffee and he poured my coffee and asked me for $10.27 Did I get fancy espresso drinks?? Nope that is their drip coffee price. I reluctantly paid for it and left. Started driving.... my coffee was cold. So buggy!!!

Disappointed that happy tomato wasn't open to grab a sandwich for the slopes I was delighted that they were able to make me a fresh, gfcf breakfast sandwich with egg whites, udis gluten free bread and bacon. They added tomatoes and avocado for me too. Dairy free choices for coffee drinks include almond and soy. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Yummy and fast

We were passing through on I-70 and decided to get some gas and coffee. When we walked in there was a family ordering everything under the sun and one guy working. He tells us it will be a few minutes while he prepared their massive order. Whatever. My wife and I order, and he instantly grabs my black coffee, but my wifes hot cider was another story. After my coffee, he took the next groups order behind us, and then prepares ALL of it before making the hot cider. Fifteen minutes later, he finally spends less than a minute and prepares it. My wife was on the verge of asking for her money back. Our two drinks cost a fortune, hers was out of a bottle and microwaved, and the service was awful. I can't speak for my wife's pre-made in a bottle drink, but mine was not spectacular at all. A fresh cup of Folger's would have been much better and way cheaper.

Traveling to Leadville for a bike race which takes place during the off season at Copper Mountain. Using Yelp, this is one of the only places we could find that was open for "breakfast". I have to say that for 2 doughnuts, 2 bagels, one OJ and 2 cups of coffee (which BTW, they were out of coffee beans to make a regular coffee so I was told they could only make an Americano) we spent $30. What coffee shop runs out of coffee beans. They were short staffed, the line was forever and the food was way less than mediocre my bagel sandwich was not even toasted and the cheese wasn't melted. I would not go back here again.

The hours aren't posted when you look up the coffee shop on the maps, just a phone number, no big deal. We call the number to make sure they're open since it is in between their winter and summer season, and a lot of shops are closed. We simply ask if they're open, saying we just wanted to call and make sure before going there. Very rudely the guy on the phone responds with, yea we're we ever not open? No need to get snarky on the phone, we were just asking a simple question. After reading other reviews I would not recommend anyone going there based on service and quality.

I have been here many times and always loved the place until my recent visit. I was excited to bring my friend here for donuts and burritos on our way home from Leadville. The girl behind the counter had a nasty attitude and was rudely talking about us loudly, the entire time she made it, and complaining about our order while we were standing five feet away. For reference, we ordered a coffee, iced tea, burrito and donut. For some reason she did not know how to make an iced tea (even though it is the first thing listed on the "Cold Drinks" menu). When she forgot to give us our donut, my friend inquired about it and she slammed open the display, pulled the donut out, put it in a bag, threw it at my friend and slammed the door closed. This girl had such a bad attitude. I will not be back.

This place is a total rip off. I bought an Americano for $2.95 and a Breakfast Sandwich for $4.95. I tipped $1 and then somehow the subtotal came to $9.69. Then they added a $1 Service Charge and $0.58 for a Resort Surcharge. Basically, they charged me an extra $2.27 for nothing.

If you want to leave a coffee shop happy, go to Sky Chutes. Michael is about the friendliest and happiest barista you will ever meet. The fare tastes good and is reasonably priced. In addition, the piped in music is great! David Wilcox type stuff.
