amazing food! and definitely wasn't expecting the skirt to be that big haha! the sodas are Boylans and is cane sugar(healthier than others) me and my family got quinoa burgers, mine with the skirt. i had about half of it left over(they definitely aren't skimpy for the price)! the fries are also delicious-this coming from a fri snob. over all-amazing!

One of my fave casual restaurants!!! They have a great selection of burgers but I can't get myself to pull away from The Classic Skirted Heifer. OBSESSED WITH THE CHEDDAR CHEESE SKIRT!!!! It should really come standard on every burger everywhere! So dang good! The seasoned fries are very addictive!! Love the homemade ketchup and fry sauce for dipping - yum!High quality food/ ingredients. Excellent portions. Good service. Adore the wooden picnic tables for outdoor seating! Reminds me of a small mountain town eatery. Highly recommend for a quick/ casual bite!

The service was great. I got the turkey burger on a sesame seed bun. The bun was cold and the turkey burger was a little on the dry side. My s/o had the B&B with beef and thought it was ok. The desserts are delicious.

Tried out this place last weekend while visiting friends in town. Decent food. The place is tiny and has very limited seating, even though it has outdoor tables. A little pricey. I found everything just "ok". I did try the skirted burger, and it's definitely a lot of cheese. I picked off the majority of it. Love the special sauce that comes on the burgers, and it's great to dip fries in. Also, there wasn't a combo meal offered unless you were a kid, so everything has to be bought separately.. I don't know.. I just wasn't wowed.

I'd say you can expect to come and get a solid burger. I got the classic burger and was very happy with my choice. I got a side of fries as well and I loved those also. I really liked that they had a sauce option at the counter that had ranch, ketchup or their house sauce. It was self serve and such a nice touch for those of us who are sauce lovers. Their burger of the week sounded so good, I was tempted, and might have to go back just to try it. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, so expect to get a little cozy with those around, but not so bad that it's overwhelming. There is also some outside seating as well. All in all, I'd say I'm happy with my visit here and would for sure come back.

I've had this spot bookmarked for seemingly forever, since we heard about it from our COS family members. I finally got a chance to take our niece on our most recent visit over the holidays, and we had mixed feelings - perhaps because we waited SO long to go, it got overhyped, but overall it was a good spot to knock out our burger cravings. I really thought I would love this place but I wasn't really wowed, as Camille said.My husband and I shared the weekly special (jalapeno popper burger) and the B&B, while our niece got a standard burger, all of us got fries. Despite being quoted a wait time of 20 minutes, our order was out fast - that being said, I'm unsure if our order was actually correct. The Jalapeno Burger was fun to try, and they were heavy-handed with the toppings on this one, with both more jalapenos and more cream cheese than expected. I liked this burger best, but my husband found the amount of toppings overwhelmed the beef. The burger also had their signature cheese skirt, which was fun and crispy, adding a nice texture. Our second burger was confusing - the B&B has Cajun spice, bacon and bleu cheese on garlic focaccia. The bread was great, the beef didn't really taste different to me, and my half of the burger somehow did not have bacon or bleu cheese, leading me to wonder if we just got a regular plain burger. My husband said he liked the burger, but he inhaled it so quickly that I don't really know what toppings were on his half. Imagine the shrug emoji here, typical dude.We also had mixed feelings about the Belgian style fries - I like how they are skin- on and very crispy. That being said, my portion seemed to all be tiny end pieces while the other two plates had more large, whole fries. Had I realized how much was in each portion, we probably only would have gotten one to share, so that really padded the bill. Niece didn't really have any comments on her order but said she liked her meal.The location is clean and ordering was straightforward. I like how the location has a patio for nice weather, and the sauce dispensers at the front (ketchup, house ranch and fry sauce) are a nice touch. I'm not raring to go back here, or opposed to doing so - wish there was a way to add on a reasonable portion of fries as a combo option rather than the full basket, though that's more of an issue for solo dining.

Went to the Skirted Heifer - Colorado Springs for lunch today. We drove 30 minutes out of the way to go here. Honestly, it was just okay. Had to get it "skirted" which is a huge amount of cheddar cheese melted in the middle. The burger (which is local grass fed grass finished beef no hormones) was very thin and the bread very bready. They were also stingy with their toppings. But it was a fun experience and now we know what it was like.

We went to get dinner at the one on powers yesterday. The burgers were overcooked and dried out Bugers looked to be sloppily put together and rushed out. The only redeeming part of our meal.was the fries. Very disappointed none of us finished the burgers, just tossed them out. We will not recomend or go to that one again. That branch is nothing like the one downtown.

Decided to give it another shot since my last visit 8 months ago. It was much better this time, probably the best it's ever been. The fries were perfect and crispy. I got the burger of the week (Oktoberfest) and it was exceptional. My biggest complaint here has always been that the buns were always cold and not toasted. This time they were hot and perfect. Service was also really quick. We waited maybe 10 minutes after ordering for our food. Will be back.
