Came here on adult night for some skating fun. It's $8 a person and $4 skate rental. They don't have a size 10 for men, which was interesting because that seems like a common size for men, my friend had to size up. We got there a little before adult night started at 9pm, they keep the lights on until 9 pm, then it's dark and it made the lights so much more vivid. It was not busy, so for people who are new or maybe not comfortable, that is a good time to go because it lets you practice with not a lot of people around. But there are people who you can tell love skating and this is the perfect night for them to show of thier moves. They do shut down the food and drink section at 9 pm, so don't come hungry. Also, they do not sell alcohol, which might be obvious, but some adults thought maybe they would for adult night and they do not. This was a total throw back, I grew up coming to this skate city, and im happy it's still open.

This is please has good vibes!!!My new fourth home. I take skate lessons, attend Wacky Wednesdays and hosted my big 40th here. I rented the entire rink for a disco/80's party and so glad I did it. For my party, the staff was super accommodating and helpful setting up and breaking down. They played my requested songs, requested lighting, and made sure the children were taken care of. The supervisor, Jason, worked with me to make sure all the details were covered. The entire process felt really easy. I highly recommend the skate lessons. Pete's a passionate and fun teacher. It's a good mix of kids, teens and adults (thankfully) and I made friends easily. I go fully padded on the wrists, elbows and knees - Better safe than sorry!!!. I feel like the staff really cares about making their skaters and students happy - and that's the vibe I want to skate with.

I love this skate city. Staff is friendly and prices are good. A few games for little game room. The only complaint I have is I wish they would stop burning the pizza.

Recently booked this location for my sons 9th birthday. We have had parties at Skate City before, but we generally use the Academy location in Colorado Springs. Our party Hostess was very amazing, and accommodating. She was super friendly and kind. We opted for the Pizza party, only to receive burnt pizza's. We ordered two additional pizza's and those were undercooked. So much so that the cheese wasn't completely melted. The venue is clean, and well kept. I can at least say that much. They did not acknowledge that it was my son's birthday as the other location does, nor did they do any games like limbo, speed skating, hokey pokey, etc. They also did not do a birthday song. Just for a "skate" I'd recommend the place, however for parties, I wasted $234.00. We could have simply brought everyone in for a 2 hour skate and paid less than half of that & bought a pair of skates from Amazon.

Our granddaughter had her birthday party here and it was one of the best (and easiest) party! The kids had fun and the adults too. Tables were set up with the paper goods and a hostess helped with pitchers of pop and ice cream for the cake we brought in. She got her own pair of skates to keep, beautiful white and pink. This was EXCELLENT!!!

The place is nice and comfortable , but when you have skates on they hurt your feet and they can injure your skin ,it's very hard to find the right size I recommend bringing your own skates so you do not get hurt or have a hard time trying to get your size

I haven't cried in a bathroom stall since I was a kid but today I did at the Skate City on Austin Bluffs. My heart just broke for my little girl who was celebrating her 9th b-day. I reserved the party close to 3 weeks ago for the 21st of Jan 2024 between 2-4 pm. I called at noon to ask if I could come early to set decorations and balloons around the table and was told that I should arrive at 1:45 pm as there were other birthday parties but yes, that wouldn't be a problem. I arrived at precisely that time and it was overcrowded with people. My heart sank and I had this bad feeling. Once inside, I was given the package wrist bands, a name tag for the table and told to take a seat; that they were getting our tables ready now. I watched two birthday parties come in and get seated by Nick (the manager at this location) and I was getting progressively upset. I caught up to him while he was moving around and said, "It is almost 2 and we haven't been seated yet. Our guests will be here in 3 mins and I had no time to prepare." He said, "Well we have alot of parties today and at 2 you will have your table. You just need to take a seat and wait." I told him about my phone call at noon asking about coming in early to decorate and he told me that it was not what was said but rather they told me that the table would be ready at 2. He wasn't even the one I spoke with and now I'm absolutely taken back by his tone, his smirk and his lack of compassion. I told him I made this reservation 3 weeks ago and his response was, "So did everyone, lady." I asked him why he was bring so rude and especially infront of my 9 yr old B-day girl and he responded, "because you're rude" and walked away. I went outside to calm down but as I turned to look back, my girl had her head hung and started fidgeting with her fingers which is her sign of anxiety and emotional. Our party started to arrive and when I got back in, they were standing around and our family still hadn't been sat. At 2:15 we were lead to our table that was in the most crowded area near the restrooms. He returned with a stupid smile asking what my girl's skate size was. He fitted her for skates that were size 4 when he was told size 3. I never should have let him near her because his energy sucked the excitement right out of her. You should have seen her face. I excused myself and went into a bathroom stall and broke down. It took me 10 mins to get ahold of myself but it was her special day and it had gone so wrong already, perhaps i can turn it around. I wiped my tears and went back to the table where she sat in a corner by herself. She looked so defeated. It took alot to get her to come out and skate but the new skates were too big so we grabbed rentals. She just couldnt shake the chain of events that hurt her feelings. Needless to say, she did not skate. They arrived with 3 pizzas but didnt even ask what we wanted to order. Pepperoni was never to be our choice but they put half on 2 of the 3 pizzas and the third wasnt out yet. My husband asked them to make the 3rd all cheese and 20 mins later i had to go ask our host who rarely came around to check on things. It wasnt ready yet so i asked him to please just bring the ice-cream cups with the 3rd pizza because people were needing to leave. He was kind but clearly was not exoerienced in customer service or hospitality. We never could get our daughter excited about her party; the damage was done. I asked my best friend to talk to Nick the manager in her calm and knowledgeable way and as I watched them speak off to the side, I hoped in my heart he would be apologetic and accountable. This party costed us $265.00 and I didn't expect a discount more than I expected an apology to my family. She returned 10 mins later and said, "I've never met anyone so arrogant in my life. He argued with me and made excuses." He did and said NOTHING to make it right. I just knew it! There are few people in world that would allow a child to feel like the "nothing" he made her feel like without trying to make it right. This man shouldn't be in a position of leadership. He is an absolute disgrace to an establishment that has caters to families. Reconsider booking your party at this Skate City. I used to frequent the one on Constitution and I have so many regrets that I chose this one for such an important day. Here is a picture of my birthday girl with her big sister. The picture says it all. You, Nick who manages the skate city at Austin Bluffs should be ashamed of yourself. I hope you get a talking to because I guarantee you have done this to other families and should not be employed in this industry. We will NEVER return.

Manager was very rude. My best friend paid a lot of money for a birthday party for her little girl and was told she could come early to decorate the table. When she got there the manager told her she had to sit and wait while allowing others that came after her to go to their tables. Long story short he was very unprofessional and argued with my best friend in front of her 9 year old little girl ( unacceptable) it really upset her and her little girl and it ruined her party. She didn't enjoy her party at all. I tried talking to the manager as well and he was rude and kept making excuses . I then told him that my best friends daughter was very upset and that it ruined her birthday. He stated to me " Well I am sorry to hear that ." In a rude and arrogant way. Again UNACCEPTABLE. It is pretty sad when a grown man wants to argue with another adult in front of a child. I hope upper management reads this because my niece matters and the way he made her feel , he should be ashamed of himself .

Can't sing Assistant Manager Sheyannes praises enough. She was kind, helpful, and efficient in handling my daughters birthday party. We had so much fun! We will most certainly be returning to Skate City on Austin Bluffs.
