"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways." (Sonnet 43)Elizabeth Barrett Browning could have written this sonnet about the Sister's Thrift and Boutique shop -had she seen it. I took a lot of pictures and captioned them for you so that you can see the ways that this non-profit thrift store soars above the rest. Not many thrift stores can boast that they are also a boutique -but Sister's achieves that effect by artfully arranging and displaying the items. A boutique gives you IDEAS on how to decorate. The prices here are better than Goodwill -or the more upscale Discovery Stores. Clothes may cater to a slightly older clientele. But there are many timeless accessories to be found. And replacements for kitchen and bath stuff liberated by college students when they come home. There is a tad bit of good quality furniture (see picture with a list of donated and accepted items). Seniors and military get 10% off regularly priced items every day. "All proceeds support the mission and works of the Sisters of Benet Hill Monastery."

This is a great thrift store! It's small and laid out like a boutique. I've found many nice items here for myself, and for my kids as well. I have purchased a few pairs of shoes, some books as well as household items. I appreciate that they choose one color tag and discount those items to as low as one dollar!I definitely recommend you check this place out!

In the spirit of quoting poems as a previous reviewer did, I'll quote an old (Protestant) hymn, "How Great Thou Art"! How great is this store, from the welcoming atmosphere that the managers and volunteers create at the moment you walk in, to the real treasures you can find along with lots of the normal thrift store variety. Combine all that with the money going to help the retired Benedictine Sisters who spent their lives in service to God and in teaching all over Colorado, and it's a winner all around!
