Favorite place to go to when I'm visiting Manitou Springs! Lots of great finds for mixed media projects. You can't beat the prices! I found paints, stamps, stencils and some great ephemera. Everyone there was kind and helpful.

If only I could live closer to Simple Pleasures! I've been stamping and papercrafting for 15 years, and I stop at every stamping store I can when I travel. This is by far my favorite. I don't get here often enough.Simple Pleasures is full of stamps, ink, dies, embellishments, adhesives, markers, ribbon, and everything else a paper artist would need. In addition to their wildly large selection, their staff is happy to answer questions. They offer terrific classes, too.

Great hidden gem. Excellent variety of everything. They have stuff that I don't see anywhere else. Wish they were closer to salt lake. I will definitely be back - if I'm ever in Colorado Springs again. Stamps are unique and great quality.

I've shopped at Simple Pleasures since it first opened as a rubber stamp shop. They've always had a wide selection of supplies and stamps, and more of the unusual stuff that Michael's or Hobby Lobby won't make the space to stock. It's my first stop when I'm looking for something new. These days they have more scrapbooking items, so if your yen is for that you won't find a better store in town. They still have stamps and stamping supplies, and their employees are knowledgable about the store and the craft.

This store was much bigger than expected and the emphasis is heavy on scrap-booking. They also offer tons of classes if anyone is interested in pursuing this hobby.I went in looking for rubber stamps. Large selection, but somehow I found myself wishing they had more options. I was looking for more "beginner" kits for kids like the stamp and ink sets I used to have growing up, but I didn't see anything that quite answered that desire. The stamps are also scattered all over the store, so I had to wander around while trying to find exactly what I was looking for. Inks at least were all in one area.Prices were just about what I expected. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. They have more unique items compared to JoAnn's or Michaels. If you're into preserving memories while being crafty, add Simple Pleasures to your list of shops!

This is a great local scrap-booking store! They have an excellent selection of rubber stamping supplies too. They carry standard paper crafting supplies, but also keep inventory new and have the latest and greatest in new brands and supplies. Simple Pleasures has a classroom for crops, classes and events. There is so much in the store that you it seems like there is always something new. Staff is helpful and friendly and the store offers a frequent shopper program. I'll shop here over the chain stores every day of the week!

My first stop at this business and I came away with some great card making supplies. Huge selection of products and friendly service! Lots of sample makes for inspiration. It happened to be their 30th anniversary and so I got some great deals on dies too! This is a wonderful place for you and your crafty friends to visit as part of a weekend getaway. Save some time for the store visit as there is a lot to see!

I came here from Wisconsin while visiting my best friend, and I was so amazed! From the friendly and kind staff, the clean and organized store, the selection of scrapbook supplies - I was in heaven! I don't have a store like this near my town so I was absolutely geeking out here. I got some lovely embellishments to fly home with me! The staff was so kind and welcoming. If I lived in Colorado Springs or nearby I would definitely be a frequent visitor!

Overall, I like that I've found more unique products here that I didn't find in the chain stores. I also appreciate their knowledgeable staff. I gave them two stars because of their restrictive Return/Exchange policy. It's not friendly to the customer, so you have to be really sure of what you're buying. It states, "Returns must be accompanied by a receipt within 10 days of purchase. NO returns or exchanges on publications, papers, or sale items. ..Exchange must be made at time of return."The way this reads, Returns are different than Exchanges, and that if you do exchange, you must get the replacement item at the time you bring back the original item rather than coming back later to get it.However, I learned the hard way that an "Exchange" is also considered a "Return," so all Exchanges must fall within the narrow 10-day window. I also learned the hard way that any item you buy with a coupon, whether that be a coupon specific to the product or a general percentage-off coupon, is considered a "Sale Item". So let's say you buy an ink pad of one color, go home to discover you already have that color, and come back to exchange it for a different color. If it's beyond the 10 days OR if you bought it with a coupon, they will not budge. They'll just apologetically smile and say "sorry".I can understand the need for a Return Policy that protects the store. However, if the customer simply wants to exchange an unused, unopened, uncopyable item for a like item of a different color within a reasonable time frame, regardless or not if they bought it on sale, it seems a small thing for the store to accommodate the customer.
