Silversound Guitar

Been meaning to fill this out for ages now. Silversound Guitar is a great experience whether you are young or older. I worked with Nathan as a beginner adult, and I have no complaints with him or Silversound Guitar as a business. They were always accommodating and professional. I plan to take my daughter there when she is old enough for lessons, and highly recommend them.

Best musical instruction ever received! Everything from guitar lessons to music theory. Patient and flexible Jon is incredibly gifted! The only place I would reccomend for guitar, drum, bass, music recording, or vocal lessons in Colorado Springs!

Before I took lessons with Mark Young, my guitar skills were on par with a 3 year old... fish. The concept was foreign to me, but I wanted to learn. The key to learning any new skill set is dedication and perseverance, not just lessons... However, if you have the keys within yourself to learn how to play guitar Mark is an incredible talent to teach you. He's not just some guy at his house that knows how to play and will play guitar at you for an hour, he's a music major college graduate with his own studio. This is a professional environment outside of just going to Grainer or Prosound like many people do before they just give up. Prices are competitive and certainly affordable. Mark will teach you at your own pace while simplifying the basics. I'm thrilled with my learning experience here. It is very apparent that music is Mark's passion, and he will encourage and inspire you to improve yourself while enjoying your own passion for it. Whether you're a kid, or an adult with the desire to learn how to play the guitar, Mark Young Music is a very very valuable place to begin or even expand your knowledge base. Five stars, because I can't give him six.

If you are looking for affordable, professional guitar lessons, look no further. Mark is a great instructor, and he tailors his teaching style to your personality so everything flows and makes sense. He is friendly and easy going, and he never makes me feel dumb when I ask him a question. The studio is friendly and pretty rad, honestly. You don't feel like you are in a classroom. I feel very comfortable when learning and I highly recommend this place if you or your kids want to learn how to master guitar!

I'm not really great at playing the guitar. There it is, i super suck at it. But hey, I'm new!!! Mark is such a great teacher, very patient and doesn't make anything feel or seem like I'm not doing as well as I could be. You can tell the man just likes music and being around it. So his enthusiasm makes learning fun. Just a great people person. He is helping me build up my finger strength and is very encouraging with my progress. The studio is great, very inviting and cozy, its really set up to give the feel of just hanging and jamming out (or in my case plucking slowly with a crazy look on my face) with a good buddy. I really recommend this place if you're learning to play a guitar or want to expand your knowledge on music in general.

Mark Young is a great teacher. He is friendly, genuine and excited to help you learn. He has a great range and diversity. He loves everything about the art of music. I am so glad I found him for my 14 year old. He is not just about teaching, he is about experiencing the journey of learning.

Our experience with Mark Young Music has been nothing short of amazing. He does lessons for my 13 year old son and the progress is remarkable. Mark is now doing beginners lessons for my husband and is proof you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. Mark is not only the best of the best he genuinely cares for his students which sets him far above the rest. His experience, professionalism and knowledge are just a few things that put him in a class of his own. Mark is more than just a "guitar teacher" he has become family to us. We love this place! If you are looking for a guitar instructor, you've found your place here! They teach everyone from all ages. We've been there a little over 2 years now and my 12 year old loves it. Nathan is an awesome instructor and David has been great! Thank you . They also teach piano, drums, voice lessons and more......
