There was a little chill this morning and we wanted something hot to drink so we stopped in for a coffee and chai. We ended up eating breakfast. Definitely one of the best avocado toast I've ever had and the FIRST time a cook prepared the egg over hard CORRECTLY. 10 stars for the cook !!! Even the little salad was good. Husband likes his meal as well. Service was friendly.

Wonderful food and very friendly atmosphere. Hubby had the biscuits and gravy - I had the Leadville scrabblette. Both were wonderful and we will be back!

Thought that we would venture out to Leadville for a train ride and stumbled upon this place. Very friendly customer service. Warm inviting ambience with artwork nicely displayed on the tall walls. Smash burger was delicious. Eggs Benedict with salmon was artfully presented with breakfast leafy greens. Very good experience.

Restaurant itself is great and you can't go wrong with the food. We go several times over the summer while attending the Leadville Race Series. However, our last visit on 6/30/24 was rather frustrating than good. The manager on site (blond short hair lady) was berating on the person that was making the coffee. In front of patrons she had formed her of needing to have a talk later. Well, that conversation happened about 20 minutes later on the hallway to the bathroom where the employee was being informed of her "sh*tty work". The other employees were visibly rushed and frustrated. The young Hispanic girl that served our food was amazing, but was in charge of serving all patrons, in a super busy weekend and we needed to remind her of things multiple times. Not her fault to forget things when you're trying to rush and serve the entire restaurant. Also, a really young kid was helping clean tables, but also seemed very rushed and even dropped used plates on my dad's lap. Restaurant is good, but manager seems toxic and incapable. Owner, please take action and know that thousands of people will be visiting your restaurant during race weekends. Plan ahead and have enough staff and ready to keep making patrons happy, but most importantly employees at ease. Thanks.

What a great find for lunch. The place has a homey feel with a variety of seating options. Love the wood arched ceiling and staircase to the upper level. I didn't have to look any further on menu when I saw the Spring Brie's sandwich. My husband got the Cristo With Altitude sandwich. We rounded out the meals with White Cheddar Mac & Cheese and Spring Mix with Chèvre Salad. Everything was spot on and filling. As we prepared to leave we noticed their awesome bakery items so we picked a number of them before leaving. Based on the prices we should have gotten more. Especially after eating them we realized we should have gotten more. Be sure to stop in this lovely place.

Was looking for brunch in Leadville and found this place on the main street. It's neighbors with another restaurant and has a little courtyard in front. Inside has high ceilings with a second floor loft area out front. For food, you pay at the register out front, and get a number to take to your table where the food is brought to you. There were a decent number of people there for brunch, but we found an open table.Ordered the French toast breakfast, which includes 4 triangular pieces of French toast, eggs, one meat, and the breakfast greens. For meat I got Canadian bacon. Tasted as what you'd expect, and same for the eggs. The toast has solid portion to it. Tasted alright. Would have been better if it was a little more buttery. Best part of the breakfast are the breakfast greens/salad which has various fruits mixed in, and it was zesty and tasty. Food wasn't expensive. Solid breakfast/brunch place.

Cute coffee shop with ample seating! Service was fast and friendly. I ordered their avocado caprese toast with eggs and a vanilla latte for breakfast.

Made it back to try the spinach burrito again; more spinach but the flavors were muted (and still too much potato). Ambiance was great as usual. Most staff had been friendly and accommodating. The younger girl working the register needs to learn a thing or two from the other staff - eye contact and a simple greeting goes a long way in the service industry - got the impression she didn't want to be there...

On our way to ski at Cooper, we wanted to stop in Leadville for a good breakfast. After looking through yelp, I decided this place was going to be the best option in town, I must say, finding this place is a chore. Google maps reports it behind where it really is and there is not a sign for the place as it's in a shared space. There was a menu posted outside with the name of the restaurant which was how we figured out where it was.The method of ordering is odd. You grab a menu, sit down and decide what you want, then go get in line to order and they bring it out to you. They don't offer a waitress/waiter service and yet when paying, they ask for a tip of either 20%, 30%, or 40% which was pretty off putting for me.They food itself was good, as were the drinks. It was just everything else that lowered my rating.

Nice on the outside but service is lacking. They gave my order to someone else forgot about me and I had to go ask where my food was 40 minutes later, when I did they basically just offered me the other persons food. Maybe try double checking names before you give away food? Didn't even try to offer to make things right just said "sorry about that" you would hope $40 for 2 alright sandwiches might receive a little better customer service
