Silo park is an amazing park right off of Orchard st near the DTC area of Greenwood village. This park was once a homestead farm that was owned by the same family for 5 generations. There is a large barn like pavilion that has restrooms and a drinking fountain. Next to the barn is a large playground for the kids along with walking and biking trails. There is even a community garden to which all the food grown here goes to a local food bank. A great place to visit.

A nice park in the neighborhood. Especially during the winters when geese invade the nearby Tommy Davis park and cover it with litter, this park is a safe place for babies and toddlers who explore( read pick, mouth things off the ground). The play area also has some tree cover so it's also a good place to play during hot summers. The park has a barn like structure that can be reserved for groups. There is also a restroom nearby. The walking trail takes you through a natural wetland area. It also has a pretty massive playing field. In summer, it is a pleasure to watch the community garden grow and bear fruits. The park also seems to be a popular photo shoot destination. It has a better parking than Tommy Davies park but they fill up quite quick, especially summer evenings when the shelter has been booked.

You may get confused (the photographer here seems to be) between Silo Park and "Tommy Davis Park". The two parks across one street from each other (a residential/not a busy one). Tommy Davis Park features a bigger walkway (perfect for bikes) and a pond you can fish in. It has a playground but it is "in the sun" and not as good in the summer.Silo park has a garden (local) plus a nice wetland walk (very short though). It has a really nice "barn like" reservation area with restrooms. There is a silo too, but I don't know what it doesThe Silo park playground is wood and hovered over by trees making it slightly more comfortable, less likely to burn little hands.Silo has a lot better parking than Tommy Davis as well

This is a nice spot to get the wiggles out! As others have noted, there is a nice barn for large gatherings, a great little playground, a garden (community?), and green space to run. I did not realize the playground was as nice as it was...so that was an added bonus. It has one of those digger toys that requires coordination, long-ish arms, and concentration!!! I'm glad we found this spot! And there are bathrooms!

Yet another wonderful DTC park. Silo Park is nestled within Greenwood Village, along Orchard and Dayton. The park has a small play area, sheltered picnic tables within an open-air barn, and a great community garden. The best part is a nature trail around the Western portion of the park. Since this park has a stream running through, the trail provides an excellent view of a wetlands, here in dry, arid Denver.A nice place to take the kids, and take a stroll.

This is a wonderful Park in the heart of DYC. It has a covered pavilion that you can reserve with 6 picnic tables inside of it and 2 wood burning BBQ pits outside with a picnic bench outside. Park has 2 swings for older kids/adults and 2 swings for babies. Awesome playground equipment as well including a wonderful trail and best of all, a huge grassy area for sports.

Small park off the beaten path on the East side of the DTC. Great place to walk or relax.

Love this park. Not too big and not too small. Love how the reconstructed the playground. The new equipment is much better than before. My daughter loves it and so do I because there's a restroom conveniently located nearby and it's right next door to Tommy Davis Park which has a beautiful little lake with ducks. Also has convenient parking right in front of the playground and Tommy Davis Park also has its own parking lot.Highly recommend if you're looking for a new park for the kiddos.
