Working with Sikora, CPA was easy and simple. We had a briefing meeting and then we could do all our work over email which was easiest for us and our busy schedules. Would use them again the future!

Be aware that they charge $100 non refundable initial consultation fee. I've never heard of such service charge? I own a small business, and I would never charge such fees to a potential client asking questions about prices or details about my services. I just wanted to get prices for 4 services, that was clear (no questions to answer from them, just simple, plain, prices which would take them 5 minutes tops to respond...), and this required $100 initial consultation fee? You wonder if they will nickel and dime you for everything else. No thanks Sikora.

So, I went to this place to file my taxes and the experience was horrible. Wade was so inpatient. He was asking for papers I didn't know I was going to need and saying I was unprepared in a rude and unprofessional manner. In the past, the tax preparers always went through everything with me and helped me find solutions right there, but Wade pretty much sent me away saying he couldn't do anything unless I had the information on hand. He could have waited a few minutes and I would have had the information, but he couldn't bother at all. Worst experience with tax prep I have ever had. They also can't do estimates. If they start the process, they will charge you even if you later don't want to go through with them.

Worked with Ryan this year and it was simple and efficient. Being military, I've never had any luck with those online tax filing platforms. My situation is too complicated given deployments, combat pay, stationed in one state, spouse working in another state, home of residence in yet another state. I tried H&R Block twice and I realized they were messing up my taxes. So from then on I tried these smaller companies. Sikora CPA was easy. My wife emailed them and they scheduled an appointment with Ryan for the same week. The office space is adorned well and comforting. My wife and I explained our situation to Ryan, he took down all the necessary notes along with our paperwork, and said it would take him till the end of the following week. Given the coronavirus pandemic and my wife leaving state, I asked if he would be able to see us earlier to sign everything before she left. He obliged and was able to see us three days early. We returned, signed everything, paid an acceptable fee, and were off.Ryan says one of the other CPAs in the office has worked with military for 17 years. This individual knows everything about deployments, tax free, combat pay, residencies in different states, etc. That should make anyone associated with the military confident choosing Sikora CPA.If I were going to be in Colorado another year, I would definitely give them my business again.
