We can't say enough good things about Sidewalk's End Montessori School. Our 4yr old son has been here for 1 yr year. The family culture of the school is very warm and positive. The parents are very involved with the school and the outdoor environment, is great and green .His teachers (Mrs. Gloria and Mrs. Lyeen) are wonderful. They are dedicated, passionate and intelligent. We know our son is getting individualized attention and they are allowing him to grow at his own pace (i.e., not just at the common denominator of the class). They are cultivating and developing the whole child. We are simply amazed at how much he is learning and advancing. All while becoming a compassionate and polite individual. We always feel supported as a family. They have been great throughout the enrollment process. They are always planning activities and the children are never bored. It's an efficient and well run school. We are enrolling our 3 yr old son given how much his older brother enjoys the school.

I love this school and so does my 3 year old! She has so much fun, has made a lot of friends and she can't wait to go to school. We visited several schools and I love that this is a preschool and not a daycare like environment. Ms. Lynne and Ms. Grace and all of the teachers are awesome and you can tell they really care about the kids and know what they are doing when it comes to Montessori and education. This is a completely different vibe than at other facilities where it feels like they are just there to watch your kids. Some of the schools we visited were just scary, so we are so thankful to have found such a great preschool. My daughter is engaged with a lot of different activities and she comes home telling me all about different areas of the world and even speaking a bit of Spanish that she learns at circle time. I also love that the school is mixed ages because my daughter gets to engage with the older kids, keeping her from being bored. She has matured tremendously in the few months she has been here! We will be sad when it is time for her to move on!

Sidewalk's End Montessori is an absolutely fabulous school! The heart of every school is its teachers and Sidewalk's End's are top notch. Led by Ms. Lynne, who has won community awards as an outstanding teacher, the team of instructors is motivated, kind, intelligent, loving, and actively engaged in your child's learning. Together they have decades of teaching experience and many have Master's degrees in addition to special instruction on teaching/leading the Montessori method. My oldest children attended Sidewalk's End for the entire three years we lived in Colorado Springs. My oldest graduated from Sidewalk's End and attended our local elementary school this year. She excelled in every area, due to her great foundation established at Sidewalk's End. I could not be happier as she continues to be excited to go to school every day. My other daughter was lucky enough to continue at Sidewalk's End this year where she continues to grow and learn at her own pace and focusing on her areas of interest. She is happy, bright, and socially adjusted. She also loves going to school each day! As a military assignment takes us away from the area, this school will be one of the things I miss the most. I cannot say enough great things about Sidewalk's End. You will love it!

My child has been here for 3 years, and it has been a great learning environment. This is a traditional Montessori learning environment, that encourages kids to develop a life long love of learning. The classroom is quiet and calm, giving kids the best environment to learn I have come across as a parent. No over crowding, lots of play time, and help kids begin navigating friendships and conflicts successfully. Having opted for the private Kindergarten, we hate to leave and wish they would add more grade levels.

My 5 year old loves this school as do I! I visited a couple different schools one was cheaper and provided healthy meals ( I so wanted to like that school) and one that looked fabulous was expensive but did not have the mixed ages like a true Montessori should. What I really liked when I visited this school is the obvious passion the teachers have for the school and students! It felt "homey" and my daughter has thrived in her academics here.
