I'm really disappointed with our experience at this indoor ski program. The manager, cooper, seemed completely disengaged and unprofessional, and honestly, just doesn't seem good with kids. During our previous private lesson, they spent more time arguing over who would carry the skis, which wasted about half of the lesson. My daughter just turned 4 and is petite, so it is challenging for her to carry them. Learning basic skills like the pizza should take priority over this kind of unnecessary back-and-forth, especially for a private lesson. I eventually offered to carry the skis myself, and he awkwardly handed them to me and just stood there silently watching me as I carried them each time for the remaining time. It felt like he didn't want to be there during the past two lessons, which is frustrating. The first instructor we had was fantastic & my daughter was excited to carry the skis with him. I've heard similar complaints from other parents at my daughter's school about this manager. It's clear that the leadership here needs a major overhaul. I wouldn't recommend this program with this manager, cooper, in charge.

The Littleton location is great. Coach Will seems to work very well with little ones. Small classes means each student gets a lot of attention from the coach. This is a super convenient and cost effective way for little ones to get introduced to skiing and snowboarding. Forget about fighting traffic and weather, renting gear, and paying for lift tickets. If you're looking to introduce your little ones to snow sports, Shredder is the ticket. This location in particular is a big space that is dated with a cheerleading gym. Which means there are lots of things to keep kids busy and exhausted before and after class.

After a full session here, my 4 y/o could ski greens independently and safely on day 1 at Keystone. These coaches are amazing! We didn't need a leash or edgie wedgie because she had the proper technique by the time we got to the snow. Coach G was helpful in answering questions from parents on how to help our kids on the mountain. Highly recommend this over resort lessons.

I grew up near Eldora, back when they had one hour tickets super cheap so my parents would take us all the time starting when I was tiny. I always felt so lucky to have learnt how to ski before I could remember all the hard parts! Now it's a long drive and a big expense to ski anywhere with kids and you KNOW they won't last an hour out on the snow, so of course I never get around to taking them up with me. Enter the amazing Shredder school! It's close by, it's a lot cheaper than a lift ticket, and it's indoors! My daughter, who refuses to wear anything but dresses, loves skiing so much now that she will happily put on pants on Wednesdays for Shredder! THAT IS A HUGE DEAL!!! The guys do all the hard work of getting their boots and skis on, getting them up the hill, and teaching them all the skills they need to hit the snow with mom and/or dad. By next winter I'm confident she'll be able to make some real turns with me when we get out, or be able to have a half day in ski school without it being all tears, because Shredder School has made skiing SOOO much fun for her!

These guys are great! I have my 3 year old daughter in their class and I was blown away at the first class and continue to be impressed. They have a great system and they make it fun for the kids. Brooks is awesome as are all the other staff that helps out. This will save me a ton of brain damage on the slopes. I think it is worth every penny.

We just finished a 14-week long ski class for my 4 year old son and I can't say enough good things about these guys. On our first day my son refused to even put on his ski boots, let alone let me leave his side. By the second class he would only walk around in his boots, but you couldn't dare force him to put on his skis. Brooks and Max (and the other guys whose names I may not remember) were awesome. They were so patient, and really helped meet my son where he was at and helped him slowly gain comfort and confidence. By the sixth class my son let me leave him, and by class 10 or so he was skiing alone down the "big hill." Brooks encouraged us to take our son on a real run at the ski resort (to our surprise- we thought we'd be doing the magic carpet for another year). We took him out on a green run and he did AWESOME. I mean he could do pizza and was even able to try some turns. I cannot believe that these guys got my very-cautious son to not only learn how to ski, but give him the skills and confidence to LOVE it. Highly recommend these ski classes if you want your ski experience with your young kid to be a positive one. Thanks Shredder!

These guys take care of 80% of the work for us parents. I thought they just taught the kids how to put on their equipment, do a 'pie' & 'French fries'. I was good with just that! However, they teach them so much more. They have an awesome team learning how to go down hills while lifting their skis. They show them the stance for good posture. Kids learn to hike around obstacles and also to carry their gear! All I have to do is prepare her for blizzards and have hot cocoa ready.

Really great facilities. Really solid coach! The big problem is the amount of time on the hill. For a 45 min class, the kids (4 year old in my case) was only on the hill skiing for 20 min most days. With four kids and bathroom breaks, this meant some days he would get two runs in. Just a waste of time. They really don't need to teach the kids about the difference between green and blue runs for 25 min. Stuff like that is a waste of time.

The class definitely helps the kids to learn how to ski fast. My kids just started skiing with no problems when I take them to eldora. The only complaint I have is when there are only 2-3 kids in the class, they do not let the kids practice more runs, instead they just end the class early, but we pay fees per class not just 3 or 4 runs per class I think.
