Over Thanksgiving weekend, while visiting Colorado Springs from Raleigh, North Carolina, I had the pleasure of dining at Sherpa Garden Restaurant after an exhilarating cog railway ride. From the moment I stepped through the gate, I felt the warm hospitality, thanks to a wonderful young boy named Sunny.Sunny greeted us with genuine kindness and attentiveness. He sincerely took our order and started us off with a delightful daal soup, which was both refreshing and flavorful. We went on to try their veggie momos and other dishes, all of which were absolutely delicious. The chai was exceptional and added the perfect touch to our meal. What made the experience truly memorable was Sunny's outstanding service and friendly demeanor. We also had a lovely conversation with Kendra, who added to the welcoming atmosphere. Meeting Sunny and Kendra was an absolute delight. If I ever return to Colorado Springs, visiting Sherpa Garden Restaurant and catching up with Sunny will definitely be at the top of my list!

This restaurant is so amazing and in a great location on the way to old Colorado city. The food here is so fresh and delicious, with options for everyone. They offer many Indian dishes, including aloo mutter and aloo gobi! They have tofu options and a selection of great appetizers including samosas. Services was very prompt and friendly. It was a quick meal and a great atmosphere. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the art is very beautiful.

I'm in love with Sherpa Garden! We just moved to Old Colorado City and are only a few blocks away. Can't wait until the weather is better to walk here for lunch. I've tried many Nepalese Restaurants in my lifetime and this is absolutely in the top 5! If you like spice, ask to have a side of their habanero sauce, it's super good! Saag and garlic cheese naan is a must with your main dish!

I must say, we were kinda amazed with the food and service we had at Sherpa Garden on a Sunday evening.Mind you, we rarely eat any sort of Indian food when traveling. However, I couldn't resist trying out Nepalese and Himalayan food. Somehow, living in the Indian capital of the world in Central New Jersey has not exposed me to any good Nepalese or Himalayan food at all. Therefore, we explicitly ordered items to ignore the conventional Indian items. But first, the look of the restaurant was pretty cool. Loved the paintings inside and the decor outdoors. The waitresses - two young women - were nice and nimble. Usually in tourist towns, the service is quite slow, but these women proved otherwise. We ordered the following:Saag dip: enjoyed the saag as it wasn't too heavy and creamy. Had the essentials that were needed. The naan itself was very fresh and tasted good.Deep fried veggie momos: these were one of my favorites too. Had a good serving of veggies in it. I was a fan of the dipping sauce. Added a nice kick.Daal: we each got daal in small bowls as a starter. This was a pleasant surprise. This had a very good taste too. I loved how the dal was served in small bowls. In general, the glassware was impeccable.Thukpa: I loved this. Huge fan of the veggie broth. The noodles were easy to eat. Plenty of veggies and a good kick at the end.Tibetan tofu with broccoli: this was another great dish and a solid complement to the thukpa.Mango lassis: tasty, yet not super sweet. The overall theme is that the ingredients were fresh, but not excessive. The food felt homemade to me. The ambiance matched it. I wish more NJ Indian restaurants can learn from this place.

This place hit the spot. I had the Tibetan chili, which was reasonably spicy and of excellent quality. A bit on the expensive side. This is a nice place so reasonable to pay for the nice atmosphere. Service was friendly and prompt.

Pros: Ambiance, music, cleanliness, friendly and fast servers, free and easy parking. Our appetizers were yummy - vegetable samosas, a spinach cream dish with fresh naan, and chicken dumplings. Also, they gave everyone in our group a small bowl of lentil soup which was yummy.Cons: Like the other 1 star reviews of this place, I agree- our main course dishes were bland. I got the Vindaloo which had a little red pepper next to the name (spicy) on the menu and when my food came, it was not spicy at all and was very bland. The chicken in our dishes was breast meet cut into cubes and dry/not good.

This place is super cute and the food was very good. Our server was nice and attentive. It brings Nepalese and Indian food together in a very nice way. I found the curry dishes to be less greasy than usual, which was nice. Good dumplings! The chai tea cocktails were also wonderful. There is a super cute garden surrounding the patio seating area. A great place to eat.

Cute little place, great atmosphere. We ate outside and the food was delicious. The service wasn't extremely quick and I prefer when the appetizer comes out before the meal so there's something to nibble while I wait. But honestly it was just a pleasant place to be that I wasn't too bothered, and the food was very good.
