Shady Lawn Coffee

Owner is rude and condescending to staff and customers alike. He makes a very uncomfortable atmosphere. This was our daily coffee place but we will be elsewhere after our interaction with him.

One of my favorite things about traveling is being able to try local coffee shops everywhere we go. This trip to COS, we were only able to check out one spot, but Shady Lawn was great! Location was easy to find, open on a holiday (Labor Day), with a good selection of drinks as well as a food menu. Service was personable and friendly, and even the regulars in line with us made recommendations and conversation. We got the Raspberry Cheesecake Coldbrew (a featured special) and a hot chai latte (purported to be the best in town), at around $12. Both drinks were really tasty, and I like that the cold brew was balanced out by the flavored cold cream so it wasn't too bitter or too sweet.Hoping to come back again next time we're in town, since they're right down the street from my inlaws.

I strongly feel like this place is underrated. This is a super cute coffee shop in a quiet strip. Indoor and outdoor seating, with Wi-fi!Plenty of food and snack options, and a huge coffee and tea menu. We ordered 3 drinks, one of those drinks being an iced snickerdoodle. My husband absolutely loved it, and it was a drive for us (25min) and still incredibly tasty! I ordered a matcha and chai latte. The chai latte was honestly the best I've ever had in my entire life. We also purchased a sticker for our water bottle. We sat outside and enjoyed one of the books they had on the wall for kids. I'm saving my matcha for tomorrow but gave it a taste. I'm not sure if they used culinary grade but tastes pretty standard, and creamy which is a plus! We will definitely be back! Con: I'm glad it's clean but it smells overwhelmingly like cleaning products in there. Maybe open a window or keep the door open.

Great customer service both over the phone as well in person. Coffee has a smooth texture, no burnt, fair pricing with amazing flavor. Love the aesthetic. 10/10

This coffee shop is so good! The staff, atmosphere, and food is amazing!I had the bacon burrito with green sauce which tasted so yummy! In addition I got a pumpkin spice latte with oat milk which tasted great!I will definitely come here again!

I don't drink coffee, but their Chai tea is really good. They have seasonal blends which are fun to try. I am addicted.

I'm from Oklahoma visiting and very picky about my coffee but this coffee shop beats all in my opinion! The lady at the counter was extremely nice and my coffee tastes great. - cinnamon bun latte - vanilla and lavender latte

I've never taken time out of my day to write a review, but this was so bizarre, I had to. Owner came in and was very rude towards the barista, then yelled at customer to "not tell him how to run his business" when customer gave a recommendation. Barista, however, did a great job and coffee was great!

I came in to try their iced matcha and I was disappointed. I love shady lawn coffee they really do have great service and a cozy cafe! Their coffee and espresso is great but the matcha wasn't. It tasted like iced white chocolate milk and not really matcha. That's the thing with coffee shops is that it really depends what matcha they use. I just wish they would switch to a higher quality matcha that isn't pre sweetened.
