Family owned. You have to call them and make an appointment. When you get there you will go into their office to sign a waiver, riders will get safety information, you'll ride and pay after. We just did the one session for three adults and it was $105. This would be a good activity for a big group. I did about 6 turns in the track in the time allotted for us.

Great facility!!! A real asphalt track, with increasing/decreasing radius turns, on/off-camber, esses, and lil elevation too. Timing sheets not part of the deal, so bring a spectator and a stop watch. Real GAS burning karts that are impeccably maintained. Not the crazy fast pro karts, but plenty fast to challenge yourself, get your heart rate up and spin-out if you don't pay attention. Lee is the man! He's likely been racing karts longer than you've been alive, so pay attention when he gives you the briefing! :) Out on prairie, just passed Falcon, about 20 mins from Woodmen & Powers. Two sessions is 25+ minutes of track time for $50!!! The indoor place is $59 for less than 1/2 the time. Like the website sez - MAKE RESERVATION! Lee lives on-site, but there isn't always something going on. He will prep the cars and have them ready for you, but if you try to just drive up, they might be stowed in the garage. This is a track, not a sports bar/arcade.

If you don't mind confirming your reservation three times by phone 1. I initally called on a Mon to sched for Tues afternoon. 2. I was asked to call back in the morning (Tues) between 8 and 9am3. I was asked to call when I was on the wayOK, it's a mom & pop shop so this was little bother. Upon entering the energy/stress level of the owners was more than noticeable. After a long winded instruction on the car and not to damage the car, we went to the track and began. The cars worked and were fun. We were the only three customers there the entire time.When my daughter went directly through the tunnel of cones the owners had set up and missed the right turn to the pits, she was yelled at by one of the owners. I didn't fully realize what was happening as I was far enough away coming off of the track, but it looked like she was scolding my 9 year old daughter as I drove by. My 13 y.o. son missed the turn off of the track and got chastised by the male owner just behind me. When I lined up wrong in the pits,I was yelled at by the male, and rolled back ten feet so that I could line up centered on the cone. It was no big deal and his reaction was more than a bit over the line.When we took a break, my daughter told me that she did not want to go for another ride. So my son and I went out and had fun, but he missed the turn into the pits again behind me. The lecture he was given by the owner was stupid...we were alone on the track and finished. It seemed that the first reaction of the owners is to start yelling at you if you make a mistake. Then they bring up something unrelated and then they are your buddy again...until your kid misses another turn.Suggestions for the owners:First of all--put some damn cones that funnel people where you want them to go without other options!!Secondly--Chill the F out! I should have given the owners a piece of my mind for yelling at my kids and left without paying and but I didn't get the whole story til we were in the car driving homeThird--Don't fing yell at my kids. If you have an issue--it is with me.I can't recommend that anyone take their kids to this place. The owners should find a new line of work because their social skills don't suit running a business that caters to kids.

Put this place on your Colorado Springs to do list. Clean and well set up. Fun to whip around the track. Would be even better with a group of friends. Tempting to buy a kart and really race. But well worth it To just go have fun when passing through.

You could go to one of those boring go kart places where you putter and sputter around a lame track wishing you could get some giddy-up when you press the gas. Or you could go to SBR Motorsports Park and get an adrenaline fueled rush as you skitter around sharp curves and S-turns and straightaways on a competition-level ribbon of asphalt that stretches for a half-mile. I took my three teenage boys to SBR today and wow - the karts were the real deal, 40-45 mph at top speed, which demanded concentration to avoid spin-outs. Lee gave us a great safety talk and is an excellent host, offering pointers to improve the handling of karts around the curves. The karts are powerful enough to allow for real competition - and yes, I'm just glad I came out on top, so I can maintain bragging rights with my boys. Highly recommend SBR!

This place is a blast! My hubby and I went out to see what it was all about and was pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had. I was smiling and laughing so much my face and sides hurt. Lee and Ivy are great hosts and give you all the information and gear needed to go racing around the track. So glad I took a chance at a drive out to the country to give go carting a try. Highly recommend you go try it out too! They give discounts for groups and kids as young as 5 can drive the cars (pending size)!

The most fun you can have out in the plains! Between racing around with your friends and enjoying the great company, you can't go wrong! Best prices around $25 for a 15 min race session - most places charge like $40 for a 10 min race...this is definitely where you wanna be to get the best deal!The staff is so sweet! Run by a husband wife team, they love what they do and do it so well! Make a reservation online or via phone if you're going in a big group!

Great technical track, tons of fun! Called and got an appointment same day. Had a blast, will definitely go back.

Me and my husband were really excited to go here with all the great reviews. However when we got there we didn't see anyone and was a bit lost sense this was are first time. Finally a lady who I'm assuming is one of the owner came out and didn't look like she was pleased to see us at all. She them started scolding my husband for parking in the wrong area. She retrieved a gentleman who I assume is also the owner, he looked just as annoyed to see us. He was not happy that we didn't have an appointment and by the looks of how empty the place was I didn't think it was that serious but granted rules are rules and we understood. He said he can still get us on the tracks but continue to scold us about not having an appointment. It was a very unpleasant experience and the vibe we received from them was off so we decided to decline on the offer to still go on the tracks and just take our business elsewhere . Honestly the owners just seemed real miserable . Would not recommend
