Sara's Sausage

I bought a couple of hundred sausages from this business for a major office party at work.The staff worked with me to set up a convenient pick up time and did not freeze the meat so that it could be used immediately. The sausages were great, and the staff was incredibly accommodating.I recommend this business highly.UPDATE: Ordered more meat from Sara and my experience was every bit as good as four years ago. Try these guys you will be impressed.

I buy this sausage at my local Walmart in Colorado Springs! It is priced fairly and definitely tastes better than the other stuff in the aisle. I really love it for home-cooked meals like sausage, onions, and peppers with rice! Definitely recommend!

Let me tell you that you can't go wrong with Sara's sausage!! Pierre and his team are such a great buncha people and take great care in providing you with quality cared for product! I alway take my elk and deer to them and the make the best burger and sausage out of it in the world. I only buy Sara's sausage and have tried everything they offer and have never been disappointed. You know what? The other reviewer (Larry) is right. The "Mexican" chorizo does not taste authentic. Oh darn. It's made in Palmer Lake, and I doubt there are any Mexicans that live there. The thing is... While it doesn't taste "Mexican", "chorizo" does mean "sausage" in Spanish and it is definitely sausage. Quite delicious sausage too. Perfect for a scramble or a breakfast burrito.I happen to like the taste of Sara's Sausage. Wow! That sounds bad.Right this instant I happen to have some of the sweet Italian sausage simmering in some pasta sauce. Thanks to Yelp I can multi-task while cooking.Support local industry! Buy Sara's Sausage from your local grocery store!

The 'Chorizo' is not chorizo. Nor was it very good. Very gristly. Got this at Walmart because they were out of my usual chorizo. Will not buy again.Better option is at Sprouts/Sunflower at the meat counter. Happy Eating!

I love the bulk Sweet Italian Sausage. I tried this sausage because: it is local, never frozen, NO preservatives. I originally found this at King Soopers, but of course they quit carrying it to push their own brand of bulk, which does have preservatives. I finally found it at Walmart. BUT, I can seldom find the Sweet Italian in bulk. Loads of other flavors in bulk and loads of links in Sweet Italian , but no Sweet Italian in bulk. Why????

The best! We drive about 40 miles to get it. In fact I like it better than south Philly. So delicious and not chewy. I even buy it and take to Florida when we go.

This is the best sausage. The casings are nice and tender. Delicious cooked many ways. I am always buying Sara's Sausage instead of the other brands because it tastes so great. I am from the Midwest so I appreciate good brats and sausage. Thank you for making such a great product our family can enjoy.

We have been buying Sara's Sausage, chorizo particularly, for years, best sausage I can find. So good that we regularly pay to have it shipped to us in Wisconsin. Their sausage has been a tradition in our house at Christmas and any special occasion for almost 30 years. Thank you to Sara's Sausage for your beautiful product!

I've only tried one flavor of Sara's Sausage. Pork/Buffalo. To me, it was horrible. I've had pork and I've had buffalo, but the flavor of this combination sausage by Sara's Sausage makes me NEVER want to try the brand again.
