My daughter enjoyed her visit to this museum. It's is a good children's museum. A sign outside reads: "Voted the best museum in Pueblo" and I don't doubt it. Pueblo don't have that many museums to compite with. But compared to others children's museum that we have visited, this one is the less attractive. Still a great choice to visit while in Pueblo, it will keep the little ones entertained. It took us around 2 hours to walk all the areas and play around. The areas were well keep and the employees were nice.

The cost is very reasonable and allows you entrance into the art museum well. I see this more as a discovery place than a museum. There was lots of role playing activities, art, and some computers. Most of the items were old and worn down. Not to many things to keep my 2 year old grandson interested. There was games, puzzles, tea sets and a variety of things. Majority if the items we already have at home. The museum got busy towards lunch time and the kids were really enjoying themselves running from table to table. I would take him back again but once he has gotten a little older so he can enjoy it all

Came to see Momix's "Opus Cactus" show. What a great performance that was. Great troupe, mesmerizing movements, highly fascinating. We were shocked that the 'please turn cellphone off' pre-show message was spoken first in English and then in Italian. OMG. Of all languages. It was super eerie to hear my native tongue spoken in Pueblo, Colorado, of all places. But I then read in the program that Momix has performed for several Italian dates, so it all made sense. Super nice surprise though.I am a big fan of the Sangre de Cristo Art Center. I came to wonder at gorgeous silver gelatin prints by none other than Mr. Ansel Adams, last summer. Now Momix. What great shows they put on at this center.I also am in awe of the mid-mod architecture. I absolutely love the mid century modern feel, the gorgeous curved brick stairwells, the minimalistic light fixtures and the beautiful natural light in this center. A vintage jewel for sure. Hopefully in the future, when the center approaches renovation jobs, they will keep the mid-mod vibe in mind. Stunning place this is.

From their website "This 12,000 square-foot, two-level facility offers innovative, hands-on exhibits focusing on the arts, science and history for people ages 1 to 101."This is a surprising find in Pueblo, Colorado. In winter especially, there isn't much to do for kids besides playing at a park in the freezing cold temperatures. This is the perfect indoor destination to entertain the kids and let their creativity shine. We came here for the first time a couple years ago, but even today, with our kids 4.5 and 7, my crafty kids found it fun to explore. It isn't very big compared to other Children's Museums we've been to, but what makes it different is the amount of tables with instructions for hands-on crafts including supplies (mostly odds and ends from ribbons/string to recycled cards and plastic containers) and the kids can pretty much draw, glue, paint and color to their hearts content. When the kids wound down from their crafting we sat with some giant bears and read a couple books before heading out. For the older set there are computer stations with learning games and for the younger set (toddlers) their is a "baby barn" with age-appropriate soft toys and barnyard murals with space to explore.Definitely a must-do for kids when visiting Pueblo. At the time of this review their is a coupon for $1 off on their website.

This was a small quaint museum but with a lot of character. Attach to a museum and performing arts theatre this was a treat. What I enjoyed was all the interactive arts and crafts besides pretend areas which it does remind me of Hawai'i own Discovery museum. For military and members it is $6 as well as kids 3- certain age. Adults regular is $8 bucks. Not bad with so much for the creativity held for the kids to become involved in. They offer membership for $60 year admission 2 kids and 2 adults. They have numerous activities and lessons for the kids as well for a affordable price. Definitely worth your money. My daughter loved it here and when we come back to visit her godparents in the future we will definitely revisit.

Why is it so hard to find something for children to do in Pueblo and the Springs? This place is way overpriced for the size of it and how little it had to do for our 3 year old. It is alright if you're really hurting for something to do, but definitely wouldn't consider it a museum. We were done in about an hour and most of the time my kid just played in the small toy area. The craft area looked cool but he was too young for that. We probably won't be back here unless we are REALLY bored.

We visited for the DaVinci display, and the arts center did its usual great job with the event. The staff is always friendly, and we always look forward to returning.

If putting zero stars was an option, I would have put zero stars. Last year, we booked with Maria at the Sangre De Cristo Art Center to have our wedding there this year. Pre- COVID of course. Awesome.... two months before our date, we get a frantic call from her that she had accidentally double booked our wedding date with another couple and we need to find another venue. TWO MONTHS! Every engaged couple's nightmare. For someone who is hired to book and host events, she double booked the biggest day of our lives. Not okay. She did mention that this was only the 2nd time over the span of six years that she's done this. Really? This should never happen PERIOD. Yes, we did get the money back we paid in advance but this is extremely unprofessional... especially with the money one puts into a wedding. Disgusting.
