San Luis Valley Campground

This campground is a hidden jewel! It is surrounded my majestic mountains with postcard perfect views. Very quiet and private campground. Lots of trees to offer shade and privacy. Million dollar views!! Also has full hookups. Highly recommend!!

What a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. This is a quiet quaint campground. It has pull thru RV spaces with full hook ups. and a designated tent camp area. There are fire rings and picnic tables. Lots of shade trees and Mountain View's. This family owned campground is the perfect spot to stay the night or the month especially if you are wanting to get away from the commercialized parks. You can't beat this one for the value.

I so can't believe this place has been here so long (owners bought the property in '73) and not a single review on Yelp?Far and away, one of the better camping arrangements we had on our 2,000 miles thus far... $18 tent site, free showers, wifi, coffee and tea, as well as honor system soda and ice in a common room, great value and super nice owners - highly recommended if you're passing through.Close to the Great Dunes and Sangre de Cristo Mountains, to name a couple. :)

I agree with the ( one ) other review. What a great campground and value! This can be used as a base to hike the Sangres around Crestone. Wish I had tried it in previous years

We weren't expecting such a nice place! Small and quaint but each campsite has a picnic table, fire pit and shade trees. The site has a very clean well kept shower house/common room with free coffee and showers, coin laundry and campground wide wifi. I would take this little family campground over a K.O.A. Every time.
