Salida Bike Company

I don't usually use yelp but I had to do something about the one star review I just saw! I went to another bike shop in town, I won't say their name but they were unfriendly and useless so I went to Salida bike shop. The owner was really attentive to my needs. So I ordered my bike parts from them. I had to order tires. When a flat happened to my adult tricycle I had no way to get it to the store but they accommodated me and picked it up. He fixed my flat and ordered me A new tire. I LOVE Salida bike shop and will Will not order from anybody else!

A small shop specializing in mountain bikes (duh!).Anton is very welcoming and it is clear that he loves bikes.Need to buy (yes, you do) a bike in Salida, then this is your place.Need a repair (hopefully not, but, if you do), then this is your place.

Great little bike shop in the heart of downtown Salida. I was visiting from out of town and needed a bike to rent, so I stopped in and spoke with Anton and Cat. Both were very knowledgeable about the tech end of cycling as well as the local trail systems. I purchased a local map and Cat suggested some routes for me to check out. I ended up renting a Giant Reign. Anton took the time to set up the suspension perfectly and I had a great day out riding the Monarch Crest Trail. They had a few hand built bikes from local frame manufacturer Victoria Cycles on display, which were very impressive. This is the type of bike shop I wish we had here in Southern California! If you're in Salida, be sure to check this shop out!

Really amazing service. My bike is running flawlessly and the people are always nice and helpful.

It was Sat the 11th, mid afternoon, and I never even made it in the door. As I walked up to the shop, the dude outside asked how he could help. I had bent my rotor really bad and needed a new one. Without even setting his beverage down he (shop guy) said, "I wouldn't even think about truing that for you.) The wheel was true, I mentioned it, he just didn't even want to look at it. Next morning I went to Sub-Culture Cyclery around the corner. I was back on the trail 15 minute later with a new rotor. Pick the right shop if your really a biker, and go get your bike dialed anywhere but here.

Took my bike in for a brake issue. They were great to work with! My back break was contaminated so they replaced it and had me back on the trail in just a few days. Highly recommend working with them.

Amazing service and professionalism. Isaac and his team went above and beyond to take great care of me. I gave him a basic idea of what I wanted and was more than satisfied with my bike. Highly Recommend for top-notch service!!

Anton is awesome. He a great mechanic. Courteous and polite, no attitude like I have experienced in other shops. Repairs are done in a timely manner at a fair price. If you take your bike anywhere else in Salida you are wasting time or money.

This is a great little bike shop. Anton the owner knows bikes and really seems to love helping people get out and ride. If you're here and need anything this is the place. He can help with the newest most complex bike to helping you build up a vintage cruiser. Super nice and extremely helpful.
