Happened by chance on this nice antique store on its opening day, headed to the Broadmoor for a birthday celebration. Rustic showcases goods for local artists and dealers, and They also manufacture and refinish their own rustic furniture pieces and garden decor. Jewelry, paintings, accessories, furniture, collectible items, they've got a little bit of everything. Compared to the mega antique markets, this is small and intimate, so I felt I had more time to appraise the unique quality of the items. There is definitely some good stuff here, and I heard they're still expanding on this lot.

I am so glad we stopped in! Visiting from Seattle, my friend wanted to stop in as it looked darling; darling indeed. What a great antique shop with lots of great items. We both walked out with a few items each. Fair pricing and the owner was fabulous!!

This is a great shop! At first you will think it is small by the outside but once you are in there - the store goes forever! Including an outdoor area. This outdoor area has TONS of rusty, decorative, garden type stuff. You will not be disappointed if you stop in. The staff is laid back and accommodating. If you need something - chances are they will know where it is and help you find it. There is also always a vendor or two working in their booth and they will also help you. With Christmas coming - this is an AWESOME place to get great gifts including Colorado specific gifts like ornaments, unique Colorado T-Shirts and Sweatshirts, and Colorado Stones. Check them out!

Be very careful with the prices. Many items are bought and resold from Habitat from humanity. Two items I personally donated to Habitat for Humanity to help the community were being sold under the guise from this company as an "Estate Sale" for an exorbitant rate. The first was a foot stool that was wood, midcentury with blue vinyl top. The foot stool was in okay condition and was exactly as we donated it and sold for over 250dollars with no work even being done on the piece. Donated a set of 3tables with little fish on it to habitat as well that were in rough shape but someone could use/restore/make their own, found being sold at this false "estate sale" as well for 75total dollars with again no work done to the pieces for them to be sold at such a rate.Be mindful of the prices at this place let alone their condition. There is a high chance that what you find has been marked up to an extreme rate that doesn't match the condition of the pieces. These are resellers so be mindful so that you don't get scammed on pricing for things that were literally available at habitat for humanity or goodwill even.

The Rustic Roost is a "treasure hunters" delight! There are over 80 vendors to peruse offering antiques, furniture, home goods, tools, jewelry, clothing, and so much more. With so many delightful finds, leaving the store empty handed is usually not an option. This store is a great little gem in the "heart of the Springs" on Palmer Park Boulevard. I especially love that they are now open every day!

I would give this business no stars if I could I went in spotted a lamp and had them test it. The lamp went on, so I purchased it. When I got home and plugged it in I had removed the shade for transporting. As soon as I did that I found out there were places for two bulbs which was completely unexpected. I assumed one was burned out. I put in a new bulb and that side of the lamp did not work. I was so disappointed as I felt I had been purposely deceived. I had asked to test the lamp, because I wanted to be careful. I called the store and talked to Jamal (super nice guy at register). Told him the problem and asked him to speak to the seller - which I found out was also the owner. I wanted the owner to help me fix. I was not asking for him to fix it. I was asking for him to split the cost of $80.00. I had contacted 5 places to get bids and all of them said at minimum it would cost 80.00. I had spent 75.00 on the lamp. I called back several times speaking to Jamal. I asked the owner to call. He never did. Jamal told me they have a sign up that says all purchases final. I never saw it. I went to see. It is completely blocked by the cash register. I even pointed that out to Jamal. Even if all sales are final, I believe I was completely cheated and deceived. What more could I have done before I purchased the lamp than have it plugged in and tested. I will NEVER go back here, which is sad, because there are others selling here besides the owner. There are many other nice antique malls in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas and I shop there often. Beware of getting deceived here. I give Jamal a 5 star rating as he was always super nice when I called or the time I came in.

Wow really taken back by my brief experience here. I pass thru colo spring regularly like every month on shopping trips since I own a vintage shop. I'd never seen the spot before so I decided to stop the sign said open from 10 to6 it was 10:45 the front door was locked sign says open, so I knocked on the door and some very disgruntled upset individual answered the door "what do you want!" I asked them if they had any clothes and he barked No! yet there was a mannequin standing directly 1 foot to his right dressed in vintage. Sorry, Me and my checkbook won't bother you again .
