I came here for the first time based on positive reviews the other day in hopes of getting a great haircut. The stylist was friendly but I suspect a bit confused when I asked for an asymetrical cut. I don't think she knew what to do. Maybe it was how I communicated and explained what I wanted but I showed her several pictures of both the front and back examples of what I wanted. Unfortunetly I ended up with a strange, uneven, albeit asymetrical cut. I am trying to grow my short hair out and just set myself back about six months of growth now because to fix my hair I will need to cut several inches off. While she offered for me to come back if I don't like it, I will not be going back. It is partly on me for asking for a new style with a new stylist on the first go around. So sad. Finding a good stylist in a small town is impossible. Hello Denver.

Rose does nails and is also the owner... she is wonderful, funny and great at nails! I'm all about the powder dips! Will definitely be back! Casual atmosphere and can always squeeze u in for an appointment. Had my nails done a couple times here and she always does a wonderful job! Thanks Rose!

New to Salida and was recommended this very nice salon. Christopher listened so nicely to all my woes about my hair and made great suggestions. Then he proceed to give me the most perfect new cut, I was very impressed! I highly recommend this place, I'll be coming here from now on. Very reasonably priced too! Lovely people.

I tried Rose for my nails on the advice of a friend over a year ago and have been very happy with her services. She does a great job on both mani and pedi's and I highly recommend her. The salon also does waxing and hair.

I needed to get some maintenance done on my toes, nails and hair. I called for pricing and was able to get in a last minute appointment with Ashley but found out Rose was booked for nails. I arrived at the salon in a downpour and entered the building. It's so cute and Rose was at the counter and greeted me immediately. I checked in with her for the services I needed and seriously lucked out when her other appointment didn't show so I was able to get all my maintenance done today!! Rose was awesome and did an amazing job on my nails, Ashley gave a great pedicure and got my hair on point for me. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants local artistry at its best!! Just make sure you book your appointment early because these ladies are in high demand!! Thank you ladies so much and I look forward to more conversation, laughs and my upkeep!!

I would like to give a shout out to Vivian, took the whole family, my granddaughter, son and myself, for haircuts and she did a tremendous job! She really took the time to listen to me and help me make a decision about what to do with my hair, and it looks great and I'm happy she talked me out of chopping it all off. Then she spent a great deal of time getting my granddaughter's hair exactly the way she wanted it, and also spent a great deal of time getting my son's hair the way he wanted it. All of us left feeling very happy with our new doos. She obviously cares and loves what she does. Not just there to get people in and out. And for those that get a little anxious in social situations, she makes a person feel very comfortable. Can't recommend her enough.

This is a very pleasant salon. Seems they have a lot of long time clients. I was thrilled to get a perm appointment with very little lead time. I have baby fine hair and it can get fried very easily. I shared my concerns with Ashley and she took them very seriously. She monitored the processing time very carefully and I think this is one of the very best perms I have ever had!!!! Ashley is so easy to be with - while chatting or just quietly relaxing. Be aware, like a lot of places in Colorado, this shop does not accept credit cards. This was a great experience and I'll definitely be back to see Ashley next time we are in this area of Colorado.
