What a beautiful place! Even the drive up is scenic. You have options on ways to enjoy the park, bridge and art installations. I took the Gondola across the Gorge, Walked over to the bridge and walked across back to the main building. Finished my visit with a burger at the restaurant, and even that has amazing views. If you are brave there are two different zip line options back across the Gorge too. I'm not brave enough, but others seemed to enjoy the option.Take water and be ready for the elevation.

Beautiful place. Gotta check it out just once right? So Yeah it's super expensive to just get in. I think it was $32 a person. Anything extra you want to do there aside from the gondola and children's area is at least $50 each. The gondola actually got stuck half way across the gorge while we were in line to ride it so they had to shut it down. Once operational again, no one in my party wanted to ride it. The main thing to see of course is the bridge across the Arkansas River. If you're not afraid of heights and swaying bridges, this is for you. It was beautiful up there, amazing views for sure. The prices there are the real only negative things as you are in and out in like 2-3 hours.

The Royal Gorge is a unique experience! As the highest suspension bridge in America, walking across is not for the faint of heart but oh so worth it! Take a sneak peak of the gorgeous canyon below (956 feet) thru the bridge slats, take a photo by your state flag, marvel at the beautiful surroundings. It IS worth it!Note: the basic ticket price includes the bridge, gondola and play park, including a carousel. Yes, it is costly. However, so is everything else. People will spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars at Disneyland and not blink an eye. The cost helps maintain a rare and unusual experience in Colorado, keep that in mind. I would also recommend the Zip line and Skycoaster - zipping or swinging across the canyon is a crazy and fun experience!

The grounds were well kept up and the gift shop was nice. We visited in December and were the only ones walking the bridge. There were many new wood planks in the bridge, made us feel safe. Once we made it to the other side, we noticed that none of the attractions were open. Nobody working the snack shack, beer sheds or the kiddie area. All closed. That should have merited a price reduction or told at the ticket boith before buying tickets that it was all closed. The attendent specifically mention the kiddie land being included in the ticket price. We payed full price for just walking the bridge, no bueno.

The Bridge is lighted for Christmas! The lights start right at the entrance. All of the little trees along side the road are lighted with white lights. The bridge itself is lighted on both sides as well as the iron high rise in the middle. The large "bow" changes colors. Lights from the sides show up on the wooden planks lining the bridge - oh ya - you drive your car through. In addition to all the trees being lighted, the large "rock" walls along the road are lighted with red & green lights. Very cool. Before leaving there is a parking lot where you can take a "selfie" in front of the Rio Grande Santa Train. The weather was beautiful so not too cold and no wind! If you haven't been anywhere to see Christmas Lights, this is the place. $45 per car.

Stopped to see the view and revisit the memories of when my son and I came here to ride the tram and walk the bridge. Lovely views from the overlook and as I walked down the parking lot to the main building. Went into the gift shop to buy a commemorative coin and a guitar pick for a gift. It was a good stop. Such a nice view and so clear. Associates in gift shop were friendly and helpful.

The Royal Gorge bridge is 956 feet above the Arkansas river. It opened in 1929. The first thing we did was the gondola ride an aerial view going over the Arkansas river it's 2400 feet across the gorge with a 360° view the ride seats six people per car. So when you go across you're at the top, you have to walk quite a ways downhill to get to the bridge on your way down you come across Cloudscaper Sip Line 1200 feet above the gorge. It takes you back to the main entrance. Where you can get back on the gondola and go back up to the top and ride the sky coaster it is a freefall at 50 mph 1000 feet over the Arkansas river.Aldo's kidsarea with a handcrafted carousel, climbing structures, a splash pad and a mining sloth box but that's only during the summer months. There is a theater and also dining areas we ate at Bridgeview barbecue before we walked across the bridge. The bridge itself has 1257 wooden planks ands flag from every state. We really enjoyed ourselves here and would love to do it again.

Went here on 7/25/24. Probably the first time here in 30 years. First time as an adult. Great views. If you're scared of heights. All the staff was very friendly and attentive. Yes, the prices are very high. Got to pay for the park, staff and maintenance. Then you have your pay for the extra rides and the food isn't cheap either. But it's the experience that counts. My family and I had a blast! Lots of walking and lots of hills.

Just beautiful views! Walking across the bridge, ziplining across the mountains, just an amazing experience. Note sure what more to say, but I'm glad we came during our visit to Colorado.
