Royal Gorge Archery & Range

Had to have a string ordered for a bow I bought there. Was told 1-2 weeks for it to show so I waited 3 to call them and was treated as though I was wrong for asking about it. Since then no calls no emails or any other form of communication from them. I've attempted to reach out more than once by email as calling was such an annoyance for them. Nothing. Been 3 months since I ordered that string. Next closest shop is 2 hrs away from me. Wouldn't have committed to the compound if I'd have thought I was going to be near an unreliable shop makes my 2023 bow a nice piece of wall art. Guess I need a bow press. Don't go there unless absolutely necessary.

I'd like to give a big fat five star rating to this local family business. I really enjoyed myself today I spent over two hours inside the store the owners son, John allowed me to shoot on the range to sight in my new crossbow scope. He was very helpful with great advice and super tips. I really enjoyed the two hours I spent there. I'd highly recommend this place if you are interested in Archery. They sell guns too.

Let me start with my service. Where do I start, well I guess its when I walked in their store 4 years ago. A gal was shootin in the indoor range , very nice, and I asked her how much it costs to shoot there, she says, "nothin if you're a customer".So I needed string wax and some blades for my broadheads, Ive been shooting all my life and the jerk has the audasity to look down his nose at me and ask me if "i know how to use it".. Not only that, then he is a jerk to me when I ask for blades for my broadheads, and says, "theres thousands of broadheads out the do you even know which one"?About then I toss a holder with all my old blades in it. hes still a jerk, so me bein nice ask, "how much to use your range"? He replies "$25 an hour". thats when my wife tugged me and said lets go....Finally I paid him around $15 and vowed never to do business with him ever again.SO 5 years later,(new location, new blood) I figured maybe, better? Naw took my buddy in there to get a peep site and whisker bisquit installed, took us 2 hours and they didnt even do it correctly, then charged us $30 for his reaming.We had to take it home and fix the jury rig they had goin.I'll never ever ever, unless im dying go to this place
