If you like your dog to chase balls you can also find later, try Rover's Run Dog Park. I love this park because I can find the ball I throw for my dog in the sand instead of a park with weeds. There are three canopies W/ tables for shade. If you want to walk, you can follow the packed sand circling the edge. It does get hot here but the canopies make it doable. There is also water and doggie bags with garbage containers.

Not a fan of this park at all. It is 100% sand which gets really hot in the summer, no trees so no shade. It is not overly big but there are a couple of water stations and trash cans with poop bags. My dogs don't really play or run much here.Important things:Always watch your dog and know where they are at all times!Always pick up your dogs poop! There is a smaller parking lot across the street from park with a short walk to park. Always keep your dog leashed walking to and from park. Redstone park is extremely busy especially in the summer, the parking lot is small and very busy.

It's a great park but Apple Maps will send you to the wrong place on the opposite side. You want to go to Foothill Canyon Blvd past Redstone Park, not alongside Santa Fe Drive. The park is enclosed and fully fenced. In the warmer months, they have water for the dogs. But until late spring, bring your own bottle of water or your bowl for your dog. There are no trees so definitely wear sunblock or a hat. It gets cold/windy on occasion so bring layers. There are benches around the park as well as picnic tables and a funny hydrant in the middle of the park by a power line. It makes a good dog run. Great parking across the street but be aware that sometimes cars do not stop for pedestrians on your way to the park. Because it is next to Redstone, there are lots of things to do if the dog park isn't your cup of tea or someone else in your group that wants to do something else. It's a great area for activities of many different kinds - playgrounds, sporting events, skate park etc.

Beautiful view of the mountains. Walk three laps and you've gone a mile. Across the street from the main people park. Use their parking lot.

I like it here. I have a large (100+ pound) dog and she can open up and run for days here. We will go here if she needs some quick exercise, but we mainly go to the Chatfield Dog Park because of the lakes that she can swim in. Only down side to this park other than no lakes is that it is completely dirt and I would like grass. Every time we get home, I need to wash her off. Otherwise great park.
