This was a good park to take kids to and had a lot of open areas. There is a playground that worked well for elementary school age kids and a sand area. Next to that is a basketball court. There is water and there were a few bridges. It looks like a great place to bring a dog.My main complaint is that there wasn't any parking lot near the playground. There is a parking lot on the higher side near walking paths, but this is the opposite end of tha park. There is street parking closer to the playground, but it still was a bit of a walk for smaller kids.

Rosamund park is a very large and beautiful park that sits right along the city borders of Denver and Greenwood Village. It has many amenities such as tennis courts and other sports fields and courts. There are many picturesque walking/biking trails in this quiet and peaceful area. My springtime visit was right when all the trees were blooming giving a very pleasant sight and aroma. Good to have such a park in this area.

Wow! DTC is rich with amazing city parks, and Rosamond is one of the best. It offers tons of green space for you and the dog, as well as tennis courts, a soccer field, restrooms, big parking lot, and a beautiful creek running right through the middle. You'll also find plenty of places for picnicking and grilling! The new concrete sidewalk makes doing laps a breeze, and the full lap is about a mile around. Great place!

Tennis courts were horrific. The courts had weeds, the paint was worn, and cracks. Very dissapointed

This is one of my favorite parks in South Denver. It's a good-sized, flatgrounds park (you can see straight across) with plush grass, ample parking (small parking lot and plenty of free, street parking), and a walking path that goes around the entire park with some path splits along the way. I really fell in love with this park because of the creek that runs along the east side of the grounds. It's quiet and surrounded by trees. A very comfortable place to have a picnic, do some yoga and meditation, or take a nap. This park also has plenty of great places to...uh...snuggle up close to someone without every passing eye catching a glimpse (unless, you're into that sort of thing). I've perfected the incognito ninja process if you're ever interested. :DI like to park on the street, let my windows down, recline, listen to the radio, and read a book until the sun goes down. Then I get out and walk around once or twice. Takes me about 30 minutes to take a moderate walk around once.

Rosamond park is our neighborhood park and we thoroughly enjoy it. It is in a quiet area (just on the corner of Quincy and Tamarac) but it has a lovely view of DTC. There is a nice walking and biking trail, quite a few picnic tables, basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball diamond, and playground. It's has a great playground for both older kids and younger since there is a variety of swings, slides, bars, and those fun little animals on bouncing pedestals. Currently, the best thing about this playground (from a kid's perspective) is that there is a giant dirt hill off to the side. Personally, I would prefer (and I'm sure the city would agree) if my kid would stay off the giant hill of dirt but since I remember being a kid, I'm not going to stop her. It does seem to be great fun sliding down it. The only two negative things I can say about this park is that it does not have a proper restroom, only a port-a-potty and it does get a bit sketchy around sunset and after dark.
