The vibes are casual and welcoming, with friendly and efficient service that makes you feel right at home. The food? Absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection, from the crispy bacon to the fluffy eggs. Warning: the pancakes are HUGE! If you're a pancake lover, you're in for a treat or maybe a challenge.

The food is less than impressive to the other breakfast spots in town. HOWEVER this is one of the only breakfast spots in town where you will actually sit down and have a server and these people bused their A**!!!! Turkey bacon avocado - the turkey looked like it was pulled out of a grocery store pack. Donut was OLD and tasted as such. Hamburger was good but nothing to write home about. French fries is what we came for and they were delicious!! The cafe is cute and small. Roosters everywhere representing their name. The front door doesn't close on its own so a customer had to keep getting up to close it when exiting customers didn't do it.

Sunday morning crush was worth it. They were lined up so we got excited. Good breakfast menu. Clean and comfortable. Busy. They could hire a host/hostess for the rush. We were pretty feral just to get in. Nice portions and tasty. Has that nice local atmosphere.

Look it's not a Michelin star restaurant, it's a cafe in a little mountain town. For what it is, it deserves 5 stars. The omelette we had were perfectly cooked and loaded with meats/veggies. They definitely don't skimp on the fillings. Our coffee never went out before it was refilled, service was super response. After a long drive and a night in a cold tent, it really hit the spot.

Ate there on Sunday morning and had the worst experience. Waited for more than 30 min to order then waited about an hour for food. Split the bill three ways, but they couldn't even get that correct as they double charged me. Food was mediocre at best. Wouldn't recommend at all.

From the rustic decor to the rustic clientele, this cafe is the real deal- and a great value!Three egg omelette with bacon, mushrooms, ham and cheese. More like a skillet it was so thick. Excellent home fries, delicious sausage gravy and wonderful endless coffee. Wife had two GIANT pancakes and fruit, said they were delicious.Staff was prompt, attentive, and extremely friendly. Clientele? A large table of local gents looked up at us, welcomed us by turning back to their food, and then started side conversations with us that let us know we were welcome.Great place for a stuffed to the gills mountain breakfast.Highly recommended!!

The waitress and staff was overall very rude and there is no hostess, multiple staff members looked at us and didn't greet us and lacked overall customer service. There is no waiting area and if you are waiting you're just going to be standing there awkwardly and the staff members do not acknowledge that you're there.

Early bird special between 6am to 8am however my husband and I missed it by like an hour. The food was amazing!! AND affordable prices. We drove from Leadville to BUENA VISTA to try this place and it was worth it!! Definitely give it a shot ! You won't regret it !
