Rookies Taphouse And Eatery

Started off with great service as usual. I always love the vibe when I come to Rookies. The food hit the spot. My server Ashley always has the best recommendations when I get stuck. Today I had the bacon breakfast burrito smothered w hatch green chili. 10/10

Great spot! Service could be a bit quicker, but we love to come here for some bar food and beers!

OMGosh...... another great find... thanks to YELP '!! Traveling in our RV through the Colorado Springs area, we were looking for a pub with food. Rookies Taphouse was close to where we were parking our RV. Walking in... the place had great music playing and it was quite busy. We squeezed in at the bar..... after a nice guy moved over a chair giving us two chairs. We thanked him !! Sammie was our Bartender.... Service was good. Attentive but not overbearing. She was very cool with a great attitude. We ordered our drinks and just settled in for a bit. We watched plates of food go by and thought it looked and smelled great. We decided to split the Rookies Hamburger with bourbon grilled onions with a side of sweet potatoes. Amazing flavor !!! The sweet potatoes were very crispy on the outside and somewhat firm on the inside.... Delicious!!! We feel it was within our top 5 hamburgers we've EVER had. Highly recommended.

We came in for a free brews and an appetizer or two. We were sat and then waited 20mins before we got our drink order in. Which has really sad considering we were sat next to the computer for orders. Once we finally got someone's attention we placed a drink and food order. The manager came over and apologized for the wait.HOWEVER, then no one came back. We got our food delivered by someone else but couldn't get a refill on our drinks. We ate, the food was fresh and good and the only reason this review is getting two stars instead of one. We finished our drinks and food and the wait began again...20mins after our plates and drinks were all empty we have to grab the only waitress nearby. We got our bill and left. As we sat waiting five tables left and only one was sat yet we were ignored. Really poor experience for football Sunday.

Great beer and alcohol selection! I love it when they do musical bingo. It's always tons of fun to play. The food and service are not consistent, which is why I don't rate them higher. I've had absolutely fantastic experiences one week, and the next week, it's the exact opposite. It seems the quality has continued to decline, but I'm hopeful that the owners will work on making improvements because I miss being a regular here. I would suggest that Rookies is aimed towards those who are looking to get drinks in a fun and lighthearted environment, and not towards families with young children. The wings and burgers are usually pretty good! If you decide to visit, keep in mind that this is a bar first, then a grill. Some food is precooked (i.e., noodles), so don't go with the expectation that you will be eating 4/5 star food.

The food is good but the service not so much. Granted, we go during lunch so, it may be different at peak times. Definitely worth checking out if you have the time to spare during lunch.

The food here is really good, especially the Garlic Parm Fries, very yummy. Our table had the Lemon Pepper and Honey Sriracha Wings which were delicious! Nachos, Walk of Shame Burger, Shameless BLT, West Coast Chicken Sandwich, Rookies Burger (substituted grilled chicken) and Fish & Chips. Everything was so good. Also had a variety of alcoholic drinks, they were all good and strong too. The ambiance is family friendly and the staff very attentive. I was in town visiting family, the food was so good we ate here 2 nights in a row! Shout-out to our waiter Michael. I can't wait to go back and try some other dishes.

Love rookies! If I ever crave a burger this is where we go. They're friendly and I never feel like ppl are judging me for my toddlers being in there and going outside to get their sillies out while we wait for our food. It's very reasonably priced. Any time we go to a fast food place, I always tell my husband "We should've went to rookies, we could've gotten better food for basically the same price!"

Love their Wings! Best in town!! Their Moscow mules are delicious and always done to perfection! would highly recommend

Did a delivery order so fish and chips were a bit soggy (hopefully from the steam in the box and the cold night air). Got sweet potato fries that were excellent. No ranch for dipping but Buffalo style sauce was enough. There was no malt vinegar so I don't know if they don't have it available or if it was forgotten. Will try fine in the next time I'm in town. For now I'm just neutral. Try it for yourself.
