The hubby and I are from New York visiting Colorado after having lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for the last decade, so imagine our excitement to see a Chinese fast food place dubbed "No. 1 New York Style Chinese & Japanese Food." For the price, and the location, you get great value and it's exactly what you would be looking for as far as Chinese fast food and Chinese-style Japanese-inspired small-town American food would go.Dinner at this little hole in the wall brought back a lot of nostalgia. They even have packets of duck sauce! I haven't seen packets of duck sauce in years! Packets of duck sauce are evocative of Americana for me, and not really something you would see at a place that serves authentic Chinese cuisine. But that's okay because you aren't here for authentic Chinese cuisine. You're here for Americanized Chinese fast food plus random Japanese adjacent options (because why not) that is cheap and filling. And that's exactly what you get. What a great gem of a place. Not sure why all the negative reviews.

Food and service was good. But the bathroom as my wife said "was the most disgusting bathroom I have ever seen" would have given them a higher score if it weren't for that.

I've been here a few times. I always try a different sushi each time and they have never disappointed me. The Crab Cheese Wontons are my favorite out of all these Chinese restaurants I've been too, they are loaded with cream cheese the ball they make it perfect. The orange chicken is great here also. The Service is always fast!

This place is pretty much a hole in the wall. It's hard to find because it's in the middle of the shopping center and the sign is really small. The food was immaculate they use very fresh ingredients and the portions were perfect for two people. It lasted us a couple of days we got the "size pints." If you have more than two people I would ask for a bigger size or get two orders of the same orders. Overall, it was one of the best Chinese food places we've ever had and Colorado I definitely recommend the prices are a little pricey, but that's because inflation. Not pictured was the cheese Rangoon's and they were to die for ! Everything made was freshly made with dedication.

I ordered from Rong Cheng Chinese because it was one of the few places that delivered to my hotel. I ordered the General Tso's chicken and the sweet and sour chicken, both of which came with fried rice and an egg roll. The chicken was fine, but the rice was lacking in flavor and had too much onion. The delivery also came with no utensils or napkins.Overall, I was not impressed with my experience at Rong Cheng Chinese. I would not order from here again in the future. Here are some pros and cons of Rong Cheng Chinese:Pros:The chicken was cooked well. The egg rolls were crispy. The food was delivered hot.Cons:The rice was bland and had too much onion. The delivery did not come with utensils or napkins. The restaurant is a bit pricey.I would give Rong Cheng Chinese a 2 out of 5 stars. I would recommend trying other Chinese restaurants in Colorado Springs before trying Rong Cheng Chinese.

I can never say enough good things about this place! Since I never really ate chinese food until I lived on the east coast i was DEVASTATED to find out how different chinese food is here. But Rong Cheng is JUST like (if not better) than the chinese I fell in love with on the east coast. Their general tso's chicken is TO DIE FOR. Seriously my husband and I both get it at least once a week (probably not the best health decision but truly cant help it). Pro-tip: i always order the general tso's combo but swap the fried rice for vegetable lo mein and and extra sauce! It may be a few extra dollars but SOOO worth it. They're general tso sauce is absolute perfection especially mixed with the lo mein and they always add soo many vegetables (my favorite). Can't forget the crab rangoons! My husband makes me get a double order (i always dip mine in duck sauce)And lastly the owner is AMAZING! She's memorized my order by now and is always so kind and the food is always fresh and hot! Best chinese food in town!

$91.85 worth of food not including Uber Eats price gouging fees. Portions advertised as pints and quarts but incredibly undersized. Flavorless chicken fried rice, we had to add soy sauce to it.Sesame chicken is over cooked and so dry it turns into jerky while chewing. Lo mein also didn't have very good flavor, noodles were cooked well at least, no rubber band in it this time. Kani salad is smothered in mayo and not very appetizing.Steamed dumplings tasted like water and the sauce was too garlicky. Wonton soup is way too salty and the broth just tastes like beef broth with soy sauce in it. Miso soup also was not good. The only redeeming part of the meal was the chicken and broccoli, chicken is moist, the broccoli is cooked well and the sauce is good. Over all opinion, don't order from this restaurant. If you do, do not order online, got price gouged $50+, go into the restaurant if you want to try it.

TRUST ME go to China Gourmet instead, thank me later.Wings far too salty, taste like they did a beer batter that left the wings with a unique after taste.chicken, beef and pork fried rice had virtually no meat. If there were any meat, it's tiny pieces you could barely see. The rice was pale and bland as well.Lo mein was too salty and had a unique taste

This place was good! I was a little bummed not to have veggies in the pork lo mein, but next time I'd order the veggie one all together. The house special fried rice was pretty good, but the real star of the show was the crab cheese wong tongs!! They're the best I've had. I'm looking forward to trying other things on their menu!
