This is not a store that is beginner friendly so if you're looking for a personal fit with some education from someone, this is not it. They tried to sell me a camber board that was too small for me as someone who's never boarded and told me it was a beginner board. It was chipped and cracked. No one ever discussed something like a true twin board as an absolute beginner. They tried to put my daughter in skis that were too long for her as a 4 year old learning to ski. The owner picked the wrong bindings for my son's board that she personally recommended and picked out. It took so long to check out and for them to get the right bindings etc, we asked if they could ring us up and make the purchase so I could drop my son off at practice and come back to pick everything up after they attached the bindings. Sure, that was fine. Half way through ringing up the transaction, the manager flipped out saying that she didn't have room to hold the items if we bought them and that they wouldn't put the bindings on if I wasn't standing there waiting in store. We were looking at spending over a grand outfitting 5 people and we were later than anticipated because of mistakes of the people working there. I didn't think buying it and coming back for it was really out of the realm of possibilities especially since the worker was fine with it. The manager was yelling, verbally aggressive- literally nothing you'd want in a manager who should be well trained in customer service. The customer service was really disappointing for making such an investment in gear. We left without making the purchase and ultimately, I'm so glad. We tried another store that was much nicer and helpful, and taught us a lot which is how I came to know what a bad purchase that would have been to make here about the sizing and board levels, which I didn't know at the time. Originally, I thought wow- that manager was so rude, she cost the owner over 1k in sales from one family but ultimately, saved us expensive mistakes from people who didn't have our best interest when making sales.

Great place to rent ski and boards. Much cheaper here than the other place I checked ! We ended up buying used and it was great !! Got some super deals!! Everyone was super nice and helpful.

The guys at Rocky Mountain Ski & Sport are so helpful and welcoming. My partner and I walked away with skis and a board suited best for our preferred terrain and experience levels while learning more about the specs of the gear.

Rented ski outfits for two, pants, jackets, and gloves for 48 hours (one day up at Breckenridge). The day after the return we noticed an extra $15 charge on the bill. Upon contacting the store we were informed that one of the jackets had a "tear" and the charge was for the repair. I returned to the store and upon inspecting the jacket discovered the so-called "tear" was a seam that had come loose/unraveled under one of the arms. No sign of abuse or misuse, not a single stitch hole was so much as stretched, muchless ripped. The seam simply came loose, it happens. The store personnel neither disagreed or argued with my analysis; however, apparently neither the manufacturer nor the store warranties anything. An old aphorism for successful business from my youth comes to mind, "The customer is always right," followed immediately by another more apposite to the situation, "Let the buyer beware." Will never do business with Rocky Mountain Ski + Sport again. One and done.

We came to Rocky Moutain Ski + Spot at 2905 Galley Rd. We purchased a used skii stuffs. We tried some helmets to see if any can be fit to us. However, finally we just got a skii boot only. To get the perfect one, we tried several of them. And after purchasing, we got home and Jessica Lifford, the president sent us an email to call her back. We called back and she said we are not welcomed to her shop anymore because we tried a lot of helmets but we didn't purchase one. And it wasted her a lot of time to sell us one skii boot. She mentioned that we tried a lot of skii boots before we got the right one. Is that the way that people in Colorado Srings are doing business? Later the owner told everyone that my husband Abused her staffs but she refused to provide me CCTV.She banned us from her shop without wanting to resolve problem. I consider she banned us from her business based on my race/color.
