Used Rocky Mountain Disposal for about 10 years until recently moving. Never had a problem with pickups, just have your stuff out in the morning and they'd be by to pick it up. Unlike some other local trash companies, they never charged me if I had a little extra out by the curb: lawn refuse, boxes, etc. One of the other companies used to charge us for each time the driver had to empty something else into the truck.The only thing that took a while was getting them to come pick up the trash can after we stopped service, other than that all good.

We live in Peyton and this morning after they picked up our neighbors trash he was speeding down our road! I yelled at him to slow down because it was ridiculous how fast he was going in a residential neighborhood with lots of kids

I just signed up with RMD on March 6th. They took my payment and said my can would be delivered on the 8th and they would pick up any trash I had. None of that happened except taking my payment. I called, he confirmed they had a "work order" to drop off a can on Friday the 8th, it just didn't happen. I explained that my trash is overflowing on my small personal can. I also explained that they didn't deliver it Monday either, they waited until I called today and told me that they can't deliver it until the 13th now. My response was RMD didn't start off on the right foot. The guy on the phone said, well that's how it works. So instead of getting me a can right away, he said we'll have someone get it out on on the 13th. These are the same issues that caused me to leave Springs Waste. So I think what I've found is you get what you pay for. Time to spend the extra One year update:So, I've decided this company is ran by children. Customer Service people answer their business phone " how can I help you" in the most irritated voice. Most real companies require a professional way of answering phones and addressing their customers. Not Rocky Mountain/HBS! This is every single time I call. I had to call last week because they wouldn't pick up an extra tote that I had boxes in. Literally the guy pushed it away with his mechanical tote arms. I called customer service twice last Friday and each time they told me they would send the truck back to pick it up. Well that never happened. Although I was lectured both time that I needed to call the day before to let them know I had extra trash. I emailed Customer Service with all those details and what I was told to do in the future and explained I would follow those instructions. Yet they gave me the exact same lecture and had the nerve to include and use as an excuse how they are protecting their employees due to the COVID 19. So I responded with "I wasn't asking anyone to get out of their truck or dig through my trash, just use the mechanical arm to dump my personal tote". So I told them to remove my credit card from any future billing and just take the tote when my paid quarter is up (end of May).I called today, as instructed and told them I had an extra tote. They told me that they will not pick it up. I said then please pick up my trash tomorrow, take my tote and refund me the remaining amount for May. They wanted to charge me $25 early termination fee!Let me just say this company is hands down the worst excuse for service I have ever seen. Please, save yourself from the headache and choose any other residential trash service.

Very unhappy with the level of customer service. The company removes services immediately after billing me for them... Then they don't pick up my trash because they not only didn't inform me they removed services but also didn't tell me or txt me or email me that services changed. Then finally when they call me back, they essentially don't GAF about the problem and, yes, act as if it's my own fault. Service Cancelled, hired new waste removalAt least they picked up their trash can promptly.

Trash pickup service should be pretty straightforward, but not with these folks. Extra items were placed at the curb, but not picked up. When we called, we were advised an advance call was needed. No problem. The following week. We call the day before pickup, are told no problem just stack the items next to the can, so we do. Not picked up the second week. I call, on hold for 20 minutes, rep puts me on hold for 10 more minutes then disconnects the call without coming back on the line. I call back, another 20 minutes on hold, and am told they won't take extra items due to COVID precautions. My husband emails, gets told it's because we didn't prepay for extra items (no one asked for payment while they had me on the phone). After multiple emails with different answers from every rep, I ask for a manager to review the email and call me because we basically were told it was our issue not theirs. I get a manager call, but he did not read the emails,only rep notes, and seemed absolutely annoyed that I wanted them to know about the awful communication, the lack of knowledge or information from reps, and the poor responses. Save yourself frustration and go with someone else.Only giving one star because you have to do at least one to post your review. I would prefer 0.

We have been customers for years. I have repeatedly had to call and ask them not to leave the empty can in the middle of the driveway. When the weather is bad, they just skip my service. They do not post this on their website so you have to call and find out the plan B. They used to make up the service on Saturday but the last few times they just skipped it altogether. This week there was a snow storm on Monday. My trash day is Tuesday. I saw other trash companies picking up on the day of the storm, but of course RMD decided to skip it. I am definitely switching companies.

Do not use this company. They have picked up our neighbors trash and drove right past ours 2 times in 1 month. No phone number ( number on their website belongs to a person not connected with them). Left a message on their website. Reply was "you can pay for a special pickup for next monday" Normal pickup Is thutsday.

What a bunch of incompetent people.First they throw away my lid to my own container and won't replace it, but allow me to use one of theirs.Then on three consecutive billing cycles, their bills were sent to my spam email and then they charged me twice for late fees.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

This is by far one of the worst companies I have ever encountered. I have never been more disgusted or frustrated with a business. From failure to communicate random policy changes to the most condescending and contrite "customer service". The consistency of pick-up is non- existent and they will find 5834 reasons to add additional charges to your bill even if the error is theirs.Unfortunately I have been a customer for almost 2 years and they have made this process absolutely MISERABLE the entire time!Do yourself a favor and pick ANY other waste company!!!!

They don't pick up your trash. I've had my recycling ignored for over a month. Each time I call, I'm assured they'll pick it up the following week, which doesn't happen. They never contact customer with schedule changes...and there are so many schedule changes. You just have to leave your trash on the curb, on the pickup date, and leave it out for a day or two, until they get around to picking it up.This is the most poorly run waste service I have ever encountered. Never, and I mean never, give this company your business.
