Rocky Mountain Cheesery

They came for our lunch at work the other day as we lost our caterer. First, the menu looks divine. There are so many great options PLUS then even offer tomato soup! I did bring my lunch that day but I knew I needed something from them so I got the garlic parmesan fries and man was I happy. For 5 bucks I got a HEAPING serving of fries and they were delicious. I was able and happy to share tjem with my coworkers. As far as the grilled cheeses were concerned, everyone on my floor was raving about them, Not to mention they smelled amazing. The cherry on top with this food truck, they were SO pleasant and friendly! I definitely would be happy to see them back again!

We hired The Cheesery for a recent grad party in our backyard - loved how they gave guests a buzzer so they would know when their order was ready. The food was amazing - allour guests were raving. The Classic - was so cheesy and yummy!!! Conor and crew were wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend their food truck for a party or just a sandwich when they are in your area!

Saw these guys at civic center eats and thought "yes, grilled cheese is everything I want!" I got the ham n' cheese, described as "Cheddar and Havarti with slow roasted ham". What I got was a measly slice of deli ham with maybe a slice each of equally bad deli cheeses, slapped between two thick cut slices of wonder bread and grilled (they DID use an appropriate amount of butter). Did I finish it? Yup. For an $8 sandwich though, I really wanted something a cut above what I could have made at home. It want bad, but grilled cheese can be so much more! Maybe I should have gotten one of their specialty sandwiches...

I'm a huge fan of cheese and when I saw this food truck dedicated to grilled cheese I could not resist. You can find this food truck parked at the Civic Center Eats. I tried the BBQ grilled cheese and it was amazing. Their menu offers a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches from the Classic to a Buffalo Cheese option. I highly recommend this truck for all the cheese lovers out there!

Overpriced grilled cheese sandwiches. Their parm fries were good but nothing out of this world. I ordered the veggie cheese because it had avocado spread but had to look for it with a magnifying glass. My son ordered the classic cheese and it was just ok.

Wasn't hungry enough to eat an entire sandwich, so I had the garlic parmesan fries at Our Mutual Friend, and they were amazing!

We ate at the Rocky Mountain Cheesery on Labor Day because it was nearby and we were dropping people at the airport. I have come to expect great food from food trucks and this was a big disappointment. The sandwiches came on Wonder-style white bread and had less filling than something I would make at home. We also had a side of garlic Parmesan fries and they were ok, but not good. Three tiny grilled cheese sandwiches on bread made in commercial bakeries and one side of frozen fries totaled over $30, which was a horrible value. The concept is great, but the execution makes this a bad stop for any meal.

I've eaten at a TON of food trucks, including other grilled-cheese-focused food trucks, and I love Rocky Mountain Cheesery. I don't know about their basic sandwiches, but their speciality sandwiches further down the menu are absolutely stuffed with cheese and toppings. The bread is thick texas toast style, griddled crisp, and when they say spicy they actually mean spicy! Totally delicious and not overcomplicated. Their tomato soup is totally legit as well.

I got the "Classic Grilled Cheese" and the tomato soup. They were both delicious! I'll definitely have to try one of their other creations, next time!
