Bear Claw (vanilla, caramel, and cashews) in a fresh waffle cone... I declare it the best ice cream I've ever had in my life!

People are stingy there. The lady there also seemed rude. As soon as I saw the signs, I knew they were gonna seem bitchy and I was right. Good thing I rarely order ice cream in general

Took a ride to Cripple Creek for a mental break. Such a nice day with clear blue skies. The sun was hot but we sat in the shade. I wanted ice cream and went in search of it. The server of the restaurant we were in said to head over to the General Store and they'd take care of me. So off I went. The store is crowded with interesting trinkets but I didn't have time to look as he wanted ice cream too and was waiting. So I headed for the counter and was confronted with so many flavor choices that my head spun. I started with his as he wanted chocolate in a cone. Then I chose the kitchen sink and something else for mine. I forget as I was overwhelmed with carrying the humongous cones and the sweet coated almonds and peppermint stick I wanted. I couldn't lick the spillage because I had my mask on so the ice cream was dripping. And I had to ask for help with paying as my hands were full. Needless to say everyone had a good laugh including myself as they helped me open the door to get out as I apologized for dripping everywhere. He was shocked how large the cones were and said he wouldn't be able to finish it so I was looking forward to having some chocolate ice cream as well. The waffle cones were a little hard to chew but I ate some anyways. And the ice cream was rich, flavorful and cold. I never got a taste of the chocolate as he ate it all! Sad panda. Definitely recommend. Just bring your appetite and a friend to carry the ice cream with you if you get more than one.

Place was pretty neat. Perfect place to get souvenirs. They also have amazing sweets. Their fudge looked amazing. I had an ice cream cone. Really good ice cream! This town is so quaint and awesome. Will return next time to try some fudge!

Rude lady! The lady must be the owner, was saying some rude things about my sisters kids saying "when the whining kids leave cause I can't hear you" thinking my sister didn't hear her. I had already made my purchases and left when this happened and didn't find out till much later. This is the only person in town that was rude and ugly! She must be known for being the old grumpy lady in town every one knows about cause I asked a local and they said yup that's them for ya. If you don't like kids in your store then don't have ice cream and fudge. Your town is beautiful but you are not!

Poor customer service. Staff doesn't know how to talk to customers who are just wanting to look around. Ended up not wanting to get ice cream because of such a rude experienc.

Came in here to get some ice cream and look around but this visit was hardly like the others, first the guy doing the ice cream orders was very rude slapping the counter saying "what next!" Startling us every time. Then when we were at the counter my father in law, who has dementia, picked up an item and put in down in a different place, the old lady clerk told my mother in law with attitude "tell him he can put it back where he got it" to which my mother in law responded, "he has dementia and doesn't remember where he got it but I'll put it back for him" The clerk got real quite after that, guess she should think before she speaks rudely to people because you don't know what people are going through on a daily basis. Needless to say we won't be back , the ice cream is the only reason why we go here but now we'll find something else to enjoy while in Cripple Creek.

Love this little shop in my town. Go there at least once a week for ice cream. They also make their own fudge.

Lots of ice cream options in there and it's a cool shop full of stuff to get lost in. But I was unaware of the 10$ minimum on a debit card purchase and just wanted 1 scoop of ice cream and the server didnt warn me that and I had no cash on me. Super bumbed he didnt tell me that before.

They sell 60 varieties of ice cream but if you want to sample before you buy, you've gone into the wrong place. Otherwise, the place is a typical tourist trap.
