Rock House Ice Cream Candy and More

A time capsule of simpler times is what I think of when I stepped into Rock House. Nestled in the cozy town of Palmer Laker is this tiny cottage of big sweets from various ice cream flavors, homemade fudge and truffles to more savory items like popcorn and hot dogs. Nearing the end of a great trip to Colorado, a scoop of ice cream is helping the bittersweet end. Thank you Rock House.

What a great little speciality shop serving some of the classics at a good price. Club sandwich, Nathan's hotdogs, chili, etc. Great, friendly staff. Then, to finish it all off, they have a huge array of amazing ice cream with flavors like Blueberry Cheesecake, MudSlide and Cappuccino, along with more than a dozen others. Just when you thought you were finished...they have freshly made chocolates of all kinds, candies and popcorn. There's even a little store in the back with collectibles and fun, retro candy options. This place is worth a stop when you out at Palmer lake or just passing through!

This cute little store was so charming. Loved seeing all the chocolates and delicious treats for sale. The ice team was the best ice cream I've ever had! I got rocky road! I also enjoyed the club sandwich! We loved our visit and we will definitely be back.

I can't believe we just visited Rock House for the first time last week. As Monument residents, we have heard all about it but had not stopped in. What a little gem! We loved all of the candy - lots of oldies but goodies. And the ice cream is delicious and service friendly!Can't wait to come back!

The ice cream munching kids ... all line up at the patio wall ,signaling every passing driver to "toot their horns " . I love this adorable "local custom " . The staff is mostly local "kids" too ... everyone is always exceptionally cheerful . The building is very old /historic, one of the original structures in Palmer lake ? It once was a roadside cafe , from the old pictures seen around town ? That was long ago .... Today , the cool rock walls remain , but inside things are very modern and sanitary! Most of all , their Ice Cream is Really Good An Old fashioned Treat to enjoy at REFILLED , Renewed , vibrantly thriving -Palmer Lake .

A local spot for homemade Ice Cream and Chocolote. Large flavor selections. We always do waffle cones. Today we bought a pound of fudge, four flavors $12.

The real deal!Great flavor variety, old fashioned style, Always cheerful, you will go back, fair prices. Good sandwiches too.

Great ice cream. Many flavors plus soup and sandwiches. Very neat and clean. The owner is onsite and the staff are pleasant and have clean uniforms.

Yum yum yum..... nice people who work here, tons of option. Truffles everywhere and lots of ice cream choices. I had strawberry covered with chocolate and a chocolate covered graham cracker.... mmmmm. My family had ice cream and ate every bit. Little picnic are outside was cozy and friendly for dogs!
