Riverside Bar and Grill

First of all I travel all over the country. When you travel as much as I do you just hope to find somewhere like the Riverside. Places like this are very few and far between trust me. The food is very good bar food I was introduced to the slopper and green chili. I highly recommend this. It apparently is a thing in Pueblo. In my opinion it would be hard to beat the Riverside's. Prices are always on most of our minds as we go out and try to enjoy ourselves especially on weekends. The Riverside has very good prices on food and drinks compared to most of the places I go as I travel. Friday nights is karaoke night and the locals show up and it's about having a good time and they do. Saturday nights they have bands that are very good The best part about the Riverside Bar and grill though are Hanna, Carli , Steven , Teigen and the ones that work the kitchen. They are the best bartenders and cooks you could ask for. The locals that are there welcomed me and after just a few trips knew me by name and treated me as one of them. Trust me if you are in Pueblo or traveling through looking for somewhere to go have a meal and or a drink, you can't find much better.

I will start off by admitting I only came here for a take-out slopper to check off my bucket list, but why would I deduct a star? I was greeted promptly and the bartender was very friendly the whole time, asked me if I wanted anything to drink while I waited. Definitely a place for locals, the kind of place I'd be seen at if I lived in Pueblo. Pool table, spacious room to the side. Not quite a dive, but not a fancy bar. It's a roadhouse. I love roadhouses.On to the food. I don't know if this is the best slopper in Pueblo, but it sure hit the spot. The burgers were meaty, slobbered with plentiful chili and cheese. A corner of lettuce and tomato satisfied my salad need, and they even sprinkled onions on top (I had asked if those were traditional or not... I'll take it!). The best part of all was tearing the soggy bun apart bite by glorious bite. Riverside really hit my comfort food spot as well as my down-home bar spot, and that's 5 stars for me.

This hole in the wall place is really good! We ordered the nacho supreme, why am I getting a text from the night special which was chicken fried steak, and the chicken quesadilla. All three of these were excellent. We left feeling really full and even have leftovers.The environment was very relaxing, and the staff was super friendly and helpful.I will most definitely come here again.

Farts are funny to me! Best green Chile in town! My only complaint is they don't have any condoms in the machine in the bathroom that are small enough for me.

Yes this is a dive bar but the food is excellent, and music is good. The one downsize, the service is slow and there was three waitress.

Don't get dressed up to go to the Riverside, but do go! It's a warm and friendly place specializing in Classic Rock and Classic Country. Pool tables in back and the restaurant/bar up front. Good bar menu -- we had their well-known "slopper," which is a hamburger smothered in green chile. Sloppers are a Pueblo favorite for which different establishments compete to serve the best. These guys are certainly in the running! (Plenty of other hamburgers, too, plus Mexican food and other goodies.)Great fun and great music was had on the eve of New Year's Eve, served up by the local band "What The." My wife dragged me out to try the Riverside; then she had to drag me out.

Fantastic ribs!! Say this as a 35 year chiefs fan.Sidnie our waitress was great!!potato was good but bake beans need help.afd honey are bacon and will be great.

Love this place. Wonderful food and the best green chili in town. Wait staff is the best. Great Friday and Saturday night for karaoke and the bands.

Brian is the man, go local Pueblo, go to Riverside. Where everyone knows your name if you come quite a bit, great views. Nice patio. Thanks Riverside, for making the jewel of Colorado great again.

Dropped in yesterday for a lunch time beer and Pueblo Slopper...will certainly be back when passing through Pueblo again. The slopper was excellent, the green chile which they make in-house superb, and the service spot-on! Sitting outside with our little pup he even got to enjoy a Canine Carry-Out snack.
