Rita's Mexican Food

If it wasn't for the fresh chips and cheerful manager, I'd give it one star. The service was ok-ish at first and then once I ordered was gone. I even had to ask for my own refill after she passed the empty cup 3 times. The food was just flavorless. The chicharones was just grease. No crisp or flavor as if it was soaking in it for a day of so. The meal was smothered in red chili. And it was even bland like tomato sauce with cayenne pepper. The place has no sign out front and the inside is very crammed. But that I wouldn't hold against them cause it is a small area. Over all, 2 stars is being nice.

Best of the best. Been coming here for years. Best green chili I have ever had.I love the beef enchiladas with green chili on top....plus a side of green chili. Generous portions....friendly folks.Kind of a whole in the wall place. Nor for yuppies and people who need white napkins or like to complain.

Hands-down my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Pueblo. I've been living out of state for about 20 years and every time I visit my family, I stop in to Rita's and pick up an enchilada casserole and fly it home with me. On this last visit I had my own personal food war between Rita's and Mill stop and Rita's wins. The green chili is out of this world with just enough spice. The pork and avocado burritos, and chicken tacos on white are also amazing. Staff are incredibly friendly. I will say this place is a total dive, but based on my experience, some of the best food comes from establishments like these. If you are looking for ambience, do take out and make a margarita at home. This place is known for the food that they serve and not the decor.

I decided on the tamale plate and boy it was delicious! Perfect amount of spicy for the green chile and delicious tamales! Might not be the place if your choosing specifically for atmosphere, but the food is great! And the service was great as well! Will definitely be back again!

Food is to inconsistent on it's taste & quality. Service is scoring "C-"Rita's needs to buy some new table clothes without question.

I used to love coming here but the customer service has gone down badly I pay for coffee but it takes forever to get and if I ask for a refill it's always it will be a minute and that minute turns in to several long minutes sometimes I never get my refill I like the food but if I can't get better service after spending money in there 3-4 times a week sometimes more then ill take my business elsewhere and recommend everyone else to as well :( especially since i say something about it and always get an excuse never an apology and still don't get it fixed

We have been eating at Rita's since 1993 and it's no less scrumptious today than it was then! Even though we've moved far from Pueblo, we make it a point to stop in, if we drive through Colorado, which we were able to do yesterday. The restaurant may be small but the kind hearted and friendly staff always makes a big impression!

The service was great. The ambiance was not very desirable. I couldn't tell if the floor looked dirty or it just was really a well used floor. The Mexican food here is very different and I can't say that I really enjoyed it a lot. The beans were great.

The food is terrible and the service is worse. Don't eat there, they will tamper with your food.
