This is how thick the top layer was.. and it's burned too. You can still see a ton of sugar on the dessert glass itself.

Had a lovely dinner outside in the patio. It was enjoyable to watch the sunset while having dinner. We had the octopus panzanella, funghi casserole, and pappardelle with duck ragù. Everything was delicious. The duck ragù was a little sweet and I think had cinnamon which I didn't care for. The server was funny and timely with our service. We had a great time.

Beyond good service, they take amazing care of you. The food is spectacular and the wines and drinks are perfection. This is a no brainer, one of the best restaurants in the whole Springs area.

If we could give .5 points, we would have rated this 4.5 stars but since we can't we rounded up. The ambience is super cute and their covered patio was plenty warm. Our server, Allie was awesome. She really helped to guide us through the menu on the best dishes which didn't disappoint. From the appetizer to our dessert, it was well coursed and well presented. Entrees were good not great but appetizer and dessert was excellent. We crushed the limoncello cheesecake even on a full stomach. Would recommend!

On a trip to Colorado Springs, we found this yummy eatery on Yelp. The restaurant is on the back corner of a several story building, so there are stairs to climb. The place is pretty small, and it was packed. The ambiance was not amazing, but they have very little real estate. We sat on the outside patio where the mountains can be seen. It got really hot out there though, so just be aware. They had nice wine, and waitstaff was friendly and attentive. I wish they would have brought olive oil/seasoning dip for the bread they brought. Instead, you get a small both of Mediterranean olives, etc.The food menu was fairly small. I would love a few more chicken options to choose from. The food was really good, and dessert was delicious! I would definitely go back! :)

Carly is my server. She recommended a couple of different wines. I taste tested a couple of the red wines. I do not like dry wines. I prefer sweet red wines. I think I finally found the Sweet Red Wine I've been looking for! Where have you been all my life?! Lol ;-) Love the music in the background!I had Beef Tenderloin with Palenta and glazed mushrooms. Wow! Grilled perfect to my liking!

We recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere is modern and elegant, and the service is top-notch, earning a full 5-star rating. We decided to try the special, the Stuffed Calamari. While it was okay, the calamari itself was a bit chewy. However, the tomatoes that surrounded the dish were amazing, with a soft spicy kick that was perfect. The Seared Sea Scallops were good as well, but the standout dish was definitely the Duck Ragu. It was extremely flavorful and had a great balance of duck and pasta. To finish off the night, we had the Pistachio Cheesecake, which was the perfect dessert to pair with a cup of cappuccino. Overall, the food at this restaurant is delicious and definitely worth a visit.

The food and service were wonderful. They made celebrating a birthday there an absolute treat. I sometimes get nervous ordering seafood (grew up on the coast) but the scallops were very good. Looking forward to returning very soon!

Phoenix is the host and Melanies our waitress. The best part of our experience was our host Phoenix. He is lively invigorating, and makes you feel excited to be at the restaurant. Are we trust? Melanie was also very attentive. The peso sauce that comes with the bread is very bland and has no flavor. The other option is better. The Caesar salad does not have enough dressing. We had to ask for extra. I don't recommend anchovies, the flavor lasted the entire meal.Pappardelle all Argosta- The main dish was lacking flavor and richness. I don't eat salt but I added salt to this dish. That speaks for itself. The dessert we had was the pistachio cheesecake, which was out of this world, so good I highly recommend it.We also had the s'mores type thing, and I can't remember the name of it, but that was good as well. They need a restaurant crumb cleaner as the table cloths are black and everything shows.Overall experience was okay. The best parts of the experience was the hostess and the desserts. The ambience is really cool and laid back but yet classy. I just wish their food was as good the desserts. I may give the place a second chance but it won't be my 1st pick to go to.

Our server really made our dinner nice. Thank you, Reagan! Attentive and honest, and We eat small portions and always split meals. Last night we tried the wedge salad, absolutely fabulous. Lots of toppings really set this wedge apart from most restaurants. We tried the Carbonara "Franco's way" with all the different pork, so good. The fresh noodles and the richness of this dish really hit home with us. Ended upTaking some limoncello cheesecake home and enjoying it over coffee this morning(desert for breakfast is totally a thing in this house) splitting the salad and pasta was perfect for us, and I fully intend to try the veal on my next visit.

I recently visited Colorado Springs and dined at a local restaurant, Ristorante de Sopra. When the check came I saw that there was an "IF (3%)" item added to the bill. I asked about this and was told that it was an inflation fee."I see," I said. "So the prices on the menu are not the actual prices that you charge?""Yes, that's right.""So it's just sort of a surprise at the end?""Well, the owner didn't want to go through the expense of printing up new menus, so we do this instead."I do understand that there is inflation, and I do understand that restaurants run on thin margins, but this practice seems a bit odd to me. I can see doing this ahead of time, perhaps as a small leaflet added to the menu with an explanation of sorts. But afterwards, tucked in at the bottom of the check, without explanation? A number of terms come to mind for this practice: bait and switch, false advertising...how about just plain old dishonesty?I wrote to the establishment, but I have not yet received a reply.
