From Nicole who was unnecessarily rude on the phone when I was trying to find her location and my GPS had stopped working, who made three rude comments on the phone and then gave me the lecture about the exit sign on the door when I entered, and Sean who said he was the manager which I am doubtful of because of the way he responded when I shared my experience, and the terrible street tacos I tried, I will not be returning. I was quite surprised because the reviews elsewhere show positivity but something was definitely off today and I don't think it's ever okay to treat customers so they leave an establishment feeling worse than when they came in. Also, I was really looking forward 2 a small steak meal and they were all huge and when I inquired whether or not that could be cut down Sean said that he could not. The butcher is the only person that can use a knife I suppose and he leaves at around 3:30 is what I was told. So no one can cut the meat to an individual size after 3:30 or 4pm. Mr. Sean also thought it necessary to lecture me about the exit sign. So here's the deal on that, there were maybe three people in the store. And if you make people walk in one side and walk out the other that doesn't provide safety. Not unless you are walking with each person and making sure they stay away from every other person. It's just about control freak ism and I will be really glad when this stuff is over. Until then there are other butchers in this city. And I've also encountered personnel and other places that are not so quick to jump on a customer. It could have been handled better and instead it was handled in such a way that if I was the owner and I witnessed any of this I would write up both of these individuals. Serious coaching needs to happen because you never know how many people one person knows.

They are the best steaks you will ever eat! You will never go back to a grocery store! Completely worth ever penny. They also give good coupons for birthday.

Ranch Foods is the highest quality beef in Colorado Springs. I have been coming here since their opening many years ago and I have never had any quality issues. I also applaud Mike as he is one of the biggest contributors to humane livestock treatment and processing. He promotes sustainability and the small cattle rancher. The Filmore store has many local producers - breads, veggies, soap, etc besides meat products. I honestly get rave reviews of friends who eat Calicrate beef at my house. Mike's healthy and sustainable ranching produces the best tasting beef!

Just finished a filet that I purchased from Ranch Foods Direct. Cooked via sous vide method and seared on the grill. Best steak I've ever had. Will never purchase grocery store beef again.
