I always have a great time perusing this market. Recently, I was on the hunt for a Thor's hammer roast, and they actually had one already in the case that they set aside for me to pick up the next day. I did have to saw 3" of bone off so it would fit in my oven, but that was easily achieved with an inexpensive trim saw. The beef quality was very good (outstanding by CS standards). I'll be a regular customer.

the price/quality here is SOLID. Callicrate beef from the case or vacuum sealed fresh or frozen. Ranch Foods is my first choice by a wide margin over Whole Foods and Costco. Try it out. I think it's really good anyways

They have a great selection of meats, fresh and frozen.Their fresh burgers, ground with the latest selection of trimmings were outstanding. Not your average burger. They carry veal and duck breasts for a reasonable price too. The butcher was friendly and was happy to explain ways to thaw and best prepare some of the choices we made. They carry some other prepared options as well. The take and bake Queso had layers of cheeses and fresh jalapeños and onions. I'd go out of my way to swing by for some quality meats and accompanyments.

Don't expect any assistance if you're handicapped. Just a bunch of millennials standing around talking.

Incredible service and out of this world food! I was able to get a special cut of meat for my Easter dinner and everyone raved about it- best standing roast yet!

This place was so much more than I thought it would be!! I loved the ambience which is weird to say about a grocery type store I got great meats, some ice cream, some fancy butter and even some veggies so I didn't have to go elsewhere! They had fresh soup which I love I don't get any but a place with a soup or the day I'll always support!

Man.... I reeeeeally want to like this place. We visited 4-5 times. They have a great selection and good products. Prices are very reasonable imo. The problem is the counter staff, at least at the Fillmore location. 1. Utterly empty-eyed, seemingly brain-dead zombies at the counter. No smiles, no "hello", no "welcome in", no communication. Zero personality or effort toward welcoming customers with friendliness. (What is with the lack of customer service these days?!) We've interfaced with a younger girl who seemed completely clueless and couldn't answer the most basic of questions, and a tall younger guy... (Grant? name started with a G) who could've been a cyborg, as there is just NO personality. :( To be fair, we once met an older manager lady once who was friendly and able to answer questions so that was nice. All of the staff could just be a little more friendly and engaging like her. It's been a huge turnoff to get to the counter and the last interaction (where money is exchanged, and a lot of it) is a transaction with an individual that literally just spouts out a number, takes the money, and has no time for pleasantries or friendliness. 2. A man named John told us a product was "being made in the kitchen" on a day we called to verify it was in stock. So we drove all the way there from Calhan(!!), only to find out this was false. They product was NOT in stock, nor was it ever being made according to the cook. Very irritating and a waste of 90 minutes for us. We mentioned it to the cashier and he just kinda stared at us. No apology, no acknowledgement... O-- kay. Left us with a really bad taste. I'll seek to find another local rancher who has a comparable product but expresses better social skills and makes me feel like Im interacting with a competent and friendly human being, and somewhat appreciated as a customer. We gave this place several chances. Bummer.

I visited your location off Platte Ave in colorado springs. I was given a gift card for Christmas. When I tried to check out the card didn't work. I drove back home to get the receipt and returned. I was the told that card didn't work because it was purchased at the Fillmore location. They told me that I had to go to the Fillmore location to pay for it. This was quite the inconvenience. I will say the trusted that I would go there and pay and let me take the items with me. I am an honest person and did go there and pay. This is something that a customer shouldn't have to deal with especially it being my first experience with ranch foods. I was polite with the staff as I don't believe it was their fault but I don't see myself going back. Big disappointment. Anthony

No idea about the quality of the meat. Set up monthly delivery. I was the first person to try this method.When my account wasn't charged I called the company to inquire if the new set up was working. The young man who I worked with, was recently 'gone.'I was trying to get someone to contact me about my order, which showed out of stock, and the delivery date moved back, but no one called after I told the lady on the phone to stop my order, until I spoke with someone.No one called... no customer service other than the original calls with the man who set this up after creating the process for monthly recurring orders...

BUY LOCAL. Excellent small store. Small in size but large in quality. Lots of local honey, bread, coffee, bone broth, baked goods, tallow, salsa, soup, soap, jams, hot sauces, and many more Colorado based made products. I love buying locally made items and this store is perfect. In house butcher. Lots of great quality meat.
