Just made a quick dining stop here. Pretty authentic mexican interior. Dined in but most people appeared to just pick up their food. Breakfast burritos were amazing. Get it smothered and spicy if you want to test your spice tolerance. Service was also friendly and efficient. Great prices.

Wonderful restaurant. The food was great. The service was amazing. Everything was clean. Reminded me of being back in my favoriterestaurantss in Southern California.

Want a burrito that will tighten your pants? You can get it here for less than $10. Everything was solid, food, service, pricing and portion size. I almost deducted one star for the parking lot and location, it was not easy to get in and was hard to park. Be sure to lock your car door.We had the Cochinita and the Steak, both with the green sauce topping. I got spicy and it was actually spicy! Meat was chunky and plentiful, sides were fresh. I had the Michelada and it was good, they also had a full bar. Maybe try a Margarita next time!

I moved from Albuquerque and was sad to give up the amazing food there. Then I came to this place and had the best relleno of my life. Their rice is soft and fluffy, beans are solid, red sauce nice without being overly spicy and produce fresh and bright. Dare I say it's better than the NM versions....

After looking online for local Colorado Springs eats I decided to give this place a go. From the parking lot it looked closed. Upon walking in it looked like they might close out of business soon.... It was a dim, empty restaurant. We still decided to try it out. The menu looked like they had a good variety of options. We ordered the cerviche, a beer and a meat lovers breakfast burrito smothered in green chili.The cerviche wasn't ready so we weren't able to try it.The chips and salsa were $3.50 for the smallest basket of chips and salsa I've ever seen at a Mexican restaurant.... And no the charge wasn't for a refill but for the original basket.The meat lovers breakfast burrito was more of a flavorless egg burrito. The menu said ham, bacon, potatoes, eggs and green chili in the burrito. But by bacon they ment half a piece of bacon diced up. By ham they meant a few tiny cubes. By potatoes they meant 4 pre made store bought potato cubes. By egg they meant the whole burrito and by green chilis they meant none.The smother was good. But it definitely wasn't green chili....I ate about half of the burrito before I dissected the rest looking for any sign of meat or potatoes...Overall I would have rather handed the guy holding the sign on the corner the $20 and kept on riding...Prior to my deep Google search for authentic local food I had never seen this building. I pass by it all the time and I'm sorry but next time I pass by I most likely forget it's even there.Wouldn't recommend.Going through the reviews it makes me wonder if they are all friends and family of whoever owns this. Cause ain't nothing 5 stars about this place EXCEPT the bottled beer

As much as I loved their breakfast burritos with green chili, I was incredibly hopeful about the rest of the menu. I've been desperately looking for some stellar Mexican food on Colorado Springs. Sadly, it wasn't to be. I ordered the combo #3, which had a beef burrito, and enchilada and a chili relleno. Even with a combo of hot and mild chili it was completely bland. The beef in the burrito seemed like it was just browned with no seasoning. The rellano was very soft and mushy although the pepper itself had some nice spice. The beans and rice were actually pretty good. It was a great price at $12.50 but I wouldn't eat there again for anything not breakfast. The hunt continues.

Talked my daughter, wasn't that difficult, into a breakfast burrito in place of a standard diner type of breakfast...I will say this is one of the best breakfast burritos I have ever had, and I have had a fair number over the years. This is a great little joint, tucked into an old strip mall and easy to find. This is the type of place I would stop in to all the time if I lived in the area.I think it's easy to say that this is a great choice for any meal but I would definitely say it's the right choice for breakfast....come hungry and come often! I had the chorizo with a green chili sauce. Eggs were tasty, meat was delicious and the sauce was a kicker! Great service, even better food!!KT

Words fail . I eat hear in silence alone every chance I get . I pray before and after my meal that I survive long enough to enjoy this moment again . I started running again just to eat here more .

This is one of my favorite go to's. Again, sometimes I'm surprised at what I haven't reviewed. My husband and I, well truly my family and I have been coming here for years. I've never had a bad meal from here, I've never had anything but amazing service. Everyone's always smiling and honestly I'm so thankful they are still open and made it through covid. Oh! You guys should definitely stop in for a breakfast burrito! I remember driving by here when I worked at the hospital and they were always slammed with people wanting their breakfast. It's soooo good! Admittedly I ate and didn't take pictures. I didn't realize I hadn't ever reviewed the restaurant. I will take more next time. Promise haha!

Don't hesitate on the cucumber margarita. SO GOOD! We also had the wings for an appetizer. Food was pretty good.
