Quarry Mesa Open Space

Easy hike with some good views out to the mountains and of Castle Rock. We saw some wildlife (rabbit and birds mostly) and tons of grasshoppers. We used the further parking at Rhyolite Regional Park, but I believe there was parking just after the bridge also. This is a good hike for a flatlander and kids.
