Always love a space that is filled with tranquility. This is a perfect little lake loop for a short and serene walk. My son and his gf discovered it this past weekend and brought me for some fresh air after our morning coffee, before it was time for a full day of travel to make it back to LA.We love long walks and if you want to loop this several times you can get in a little bit of mileage but it's only about 1 mile around. I can definitely see us running the neighborhood and tossing in a bunch of laps here. We jokingly said we'd train for our April ultra here, hahaha - totally not running over 30 loops, no matter how many times we changed the direction. Also fairly certain we could run a short ultra tomorrow morning if we had a decent dinner before bed. It is however, a great option for training since there's a restroom and parking lot - if you're training for a shorter distance. The weather was stunning (as it had snowed over night and into the early morning) and only a couple of joggers were out.If you appreciate peaceful and calm spaces beside bodies of water, this is the neighborhood gem of a park that you'll be grateful to spend time at.

Quail Lake is a cute little lake with a trail that wraps around it. It is really cute for pictures or enjoying a picnic! There is a playground for kids to play on the west end and then a small parking lot and street parking. The dock in the picture is sturdy and perfect for sitting on the end and reading a book - or at least that's how I enjoyed it ;)

Great family friendly lake! *Public bathrooms Came down in the area and was looking for a nice spot to have lunch outside. They had so many picnic tables to choose from. If you choose to sit on the grass, there is a lot of space for a big blanket. Big playground for the kids to play on as well as. After lunch we wanted to go for a short walk around the lake which is a one-mile loop. It was so relaxing and beautiful. People were reading by the water edge, paddle boarding, playing with their dogs and fishing.Lovely way to spend a last afternoon! Don't forget... Leave a place cleaner than you found it! Overall 5/5 enjoy :)

I have to admit, I've lived in this city for a large amount of years (I'm not going to age myself lol), and I've never visited this park. Can't tell you why, as I've driven past it on numerous occasions and said: how pretty...on most of those occasions. Well last night (5/09/23), my friend and I decided to eat our dinners there and then walk around the lake. There was an abundance of picnic tables for everyone so it was easy to find a place to sit. The walk around the lake was so quick, it definitely didn't look like it would be, but it was. There were so many people out in the water as well. There were also people fishing in the lake. One side of the park has a playground as well. Really it's a one stop shop for so many outdoor activities.

Beautiful lake and a great place for a walk, picnic or fishing trip! The loop around the lake is about 1 mile (I clocked it at .90). It looks like there are two different parking lots..one near a dock and the other by the playground & basketball hoops. The restrooms look seasonally closed, but there are some portapottys that are pretty clean. The trail is mostly dirt with some paved parts and only a few patches of snow today. The scenery is beautiful and complete with an amazing Mountain View! New favorite trail in town.

Seriously one of my favorite little parks in the US. With a nice one mile loop that you can jog around the lake, be prepared to see bunnies, ducks, and other random animals. It's also a relatively clean park with easy parking, lots of fishing, and beautiful views!

Easily one of my favorite spots in the Springs. This lake is beautiful and has a wonderful little gravel path around it that is just under a mile. It's perfect for exercising. This lake is very popular for fishing and water sports, so it can get a bit crowded on weekends. The view of Cheyenne Mountain is incredible, and there are so many cute baby bunnies in the spring and early summer. There is also a playground and basketball court.

I enjoy this little park. A bit tricky to find, especially in the dark, but it's worth it. Not big at all. Maybe about a mile or so of a walk, but it is located surrounding a small lake. One time we arrived and it smelled like dead fish which was horrific, but have not experienced it again since. Also saw a mouse on the deck which I'm not a fan of either. The lake combined with the mountain views are an extravagant view honestly. The walk is short and mostly unpaved but not difficult in any way. The parking is not a big area, but it fits a decent amount of vehicles. Decent park and place to visit.

Love the breeze, decided to leave a review for a park on Yelp. That's called 'range'.

It was crowded. Many paddle boarders cutting through fishng areas. Just awful. The whole experience was bad. If I go to a lake, i want some peace and quiet. None to be had at this lake and people were rude
