The gym seems small at first but there are multiple areas and levels to climb! The setters here are pretty strong, other gyms i am doing V6s but here i can barely manage their V5s. Super friendly staff, happy hour betwen 12-2 was awesome, clean, and not crowded during happy hour. The overhang is serious, what a great challenge and the slab wall routes were very challenging as well, good stuff. no handouts given at this gym, i like it.

What a fun gym! Pure hosted us for a Yelp event and I had a great time meeting the staff and climbing. Although this is the smallest gym in Colorado Springs there is plenty of space to practice bouldering regardless of your skill level. There is also a section downstairs, a bench press to work out, and plenty of activities that are kid friendly. On a Friday night there were plenty of parents taking their kids to climb, friends, as well as solo climbers filing in. They have a 24hr access option if interested for a slightly higher fee. I loved that they serve to the local community without a high cost. They are also co-located with Geronimo where you can check out all sorts of outdoor gear. The staff at both places seem very knowledgeable and willing to help/answer any questions. This seems like the perfect spot to try out a membership for a newbie like me! Thanks for hosting us and hope to come back again soon.

Dropped in here tonight with my teen and pre teen kiddos. We are discovering our love for rock climbingso we were super excited to hear about Pure Bouldering. The staff was all super nice and helpful in showing us some tips and tricks. We really liked that there were several different areas to climb and different arrangements on each one. So for me (the not soexperienced) who definitely needed the VEZ there were plenty to choose from. I never had to wait for one to become available. There was definitely a good mix between upstairs and downstairs and we stayed busy the whole time we were there. Thanks for providing a great place to climb! We will definitely be back

Awesome place! Staff is super friendly and easy going. The gym is always clean. And the new outdoor setup is an awesome edition! Every time I bring my family (ages range from 6 years to 70) it's always a great time!

What a fantastic bouldering gym! They have something for everyone no matter age or ability. What I loved was that they had SO many routes of each rating. They have three main sections. The basement which has weights, hangs, circuits, a slap wall, a severe overhang, AND A KIDS SREA. Start your kiddos young so they can embarrass me by crushing that V8 next to my V3.Then there's an outdoor area that they are still building up. It's Ninja Warrior type stuff with a few routes. I like the hanging snowboards. Finally, there's upstairs. There's pretty much everything you could think of climbing. At first I was like, man this place is small compared to my home gym. But man di they use their space more wisely than any gym I've been to so far. Now, let's get to the culture. Especially for those ladies out there crushing it. Now, I'm quite shy and I don't like people throwing beta at me while I'm on the wall. I prefer people ask me if I want beta too. But everyone here was so nice that I couldn't get mad. They weren't shouting beta just to boost their ego but rather because they really wanted me to send the route. They also wre all very thoughtful in not wall or route hogging. Overall, I felt comfortable and welcomed. I'll be back for sure! I'm planning on making this my new climbing spot in Colorado.

I'm now a member, and there's a reason why. Colorado Springs has two other large climbing gyms with bouldering problems. Why do I come here?I go to Pure because it's a crazy-intimate space full of challenging problems. There are a handful of friendly employees, all with tons of climbing experience. In fact, you'll only ever see one person at a time working the desk, and they don't mind if you ask them to spot you or to show you how to do a climb. Often times, it's just me and the person working the desk, and when there are other climbers around, they've all been friendly and supportive (even if they're considerably better climbers). Also, can we talk about the space? It's the main hall of a church with bouldering problems arching up into the roof. They even have an outside wall for when it rains - and they regularly host grill-outs for anyone who wants to stop by. They're expanding into the basement of the building (I can't wait to see it!) and they're always adding new classes (stretching, yoga, etc). Secretly, I wish I was young enough to take Lisa's kids class.Again, this is a great gym run by great people who will make you feel at home.

Awesome gym, really good problems, and cool employees. I come here as a second gym as I like sport climb as well. If I could afford two memberships id definitely have one at pure as well. Stop in a few times a month when City Rock gets stale.

This is a great climbing gym! The community and staff are super nice and helpful. The gym has a lot of routes and they are changed regularly. The main staff that's there when i am is Kevin. Kevin is awesome and super helpful. The price is good and cheaper than most bouldering gyms.
