Average Mexican restaurant I don't have any alcoholic drinks, so I'm not sure if they were any good. The food was ok. The chips were freshly made and tasted great. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce. The bean dip was good thoughThe music kept cutting out. The audio system needs to be fixed. It's playing in the back somewhere and cuts out in the dinning room. It's annoying My food was not that good I do not recommend the steak salad. The steak was a little bland and way over cooked. The salad was just a little shredded lettuce under the steak. Two slices of tomato - like you put on a hamburger and unripe. There was a little avocado, black beans and some tortilla strips. In their defense I showed up 45 min before closing and it was dead. I probably kept them from closing early. In my defense, I was in and out of there in less than 30 min and before they closed. The meal was pretty inexpensive. I paid about $15 before tip. The wait staff was great. They were nice and checked on me regularly. They did start vacuuming while I ate, but that really didn't bother me as much as the music cutting in and out.

Recently we've ordered takeout, twice, from this location & decided we would try dine in. Upon arrival, we were seated quickly & there were several other diners. We ordered our drinks & food within the first five minutes. Decor is very nice, clean and inviting. Once we received our food, you could tell it was executed well & was beautiful on a plate. All of the flavors were on point & delicious. Every last aspect tasted super fresh & flavorful. My husband raved about his Burrito Manadero & was super pleased. Side note, I'm not a Dr. Pepper fan typically because it has little fizz, however they even nailed that down!! I had a super fizzy DP to wash down my delicious Street Tacos!!! We'll definitely be back!!! This has become our favorite Pueblo Viejo location!!!

An INCREDIBLE experience and I havent even tasted the food yet! I placed an order to go and the gentleman who took my order was so kind. Once I arrived my order was freshly made and even gave me a discount with an extra drink on the house when i stupidly forgot to specify the type of margarita i wanted. I cant wait to try the food and will update my post then!! Seriously check them out they are so kind.Update: couldnt wait to take pictures of the food i ate it ALL so quick. I got a combo plate with a chicken chalupa, beef enchilada and rice and beans. Everything was perfect and I cant wait to go back!

I just adore this specific Pueblo viejo in our city. The service is always on point! The food is delicious. I'm surprised at the ratings honestly. My little ones love coming here as well. By far one of the lesser mexican experiences that I have had in Colorado Springs. I ordered shredded beef chimichangas and the beef was served in chunks. It had almost no flavor. I had to bury it in sour cream and salsa to give it any flavor at all. The service was slow and they were way understaffed. The only good part of the whole experience was the chips and salsa that were really good. You can definitely do better than here.

Normally this place serves up decent Mexican, nothing amazing but definitely worthwhile for the Springs. However, our last visit was just a series of unfortunate events. From forgetting to hand out chips, salsa and bean dip, to hair in the food, to the server ignoring us and not offering dessert. It just wasn't a great experience. Usually we get better, hence the 2 star, but it will be awhile before we go there again.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in town!!! The salsa is 10/10 and the food reminds me the most of California's Mexican food. We get the fajitas, chicken ranchera, enchiladas or Chile rellano most frequently. The servers are always so kind. My only complaint would be when you order to go, they make you pay for chips and salsa and give you the tiniest portions ever...it costs $5+ for a larger salsa to go and a few more dollars for chips. I just prefer to stick to dining in (you get bean dip with your chips and salsa when you dine in too!) and give that extra $$ as a tip to the gals serving us. Fast service. I'll keep coming back!
