This park is the best. The zoo, great ball fields and tennis courts, and a wonderful playground with an amusement park attached make it the perfect place to spend the day. There are picnic tables and gazebos. Plenty of swings which is great since that seems to be hit or miss at parks. Plus the area makes for a laid back play area since cars drive slow and it's no where near the road. A great park for parents to sit on the bench with a book while the kids run.

Super fun for kids. Maybe a smaller kids park. Tickets are 25 cents and most rides cost 2. There's a small train, carousel, 2 jumpers, little airplane rides, tiny Ferris wheel and a few others. You can also fish in the pond they have there.

This park has been the same since the 80's and probably even before then. I enjoy just walking around taking in the nostalgia. I like the dog park but it's always so busy and at times can get a little overwhelming.I know it's not the parks fault but I do notice a lot of dogs always trying to hump each other and the owners don't really seem to mind for some reason. Weird.

Anyone who has read a review of mine knows that I won't even bother writing a negative review. Usually if I have a bad experience somewhere, I chalk it up to an off day and move on. I don't feel the need to put anyone or any establishment on blast, EVER. But that all changed with my recent visit to Pueblo City Park, specifically, the Bark Park. We've been going to the park almost every afternoon and most weekends since March 2016.I ended up calling 911 on Sunday because I honestly feared for my life. A man with an aggressive dog entered the park and his dog immediately attacked a smaller dog which resulted in a dog pile. This was not the scary part of the incident, however. The scary part was how the dog owners reacted, which was by brandishing weapons. The owner of the smaller dog took a switchblade out of his fanny pack, the blade was about six inches long, and he was lunging toward the other man and screaming that he would kill him. Really??? Keep in mind this is at like 9am on a Sunday morning. The man with the knife had screamed at me and threatened my dog about an hour before this all went down because my dog jumped up on the picnic table next to him (this is a dog park, probably shouldn't be visiting if you can't handle dogs being near you but whatever). He told me "if your dog comes near me again, you won't have a dog anymore." Honestly I just brushed him off and told myself he must be having a rough morning, I took my dog and went to the other side of the park. Once the knife came out, I was done. I'm not some weenie who freaks out when there is a confrontation, I never get involved or fan the flames, but this was different. I thought that guy with the knife was going to kill the other guy or kill someone's dog. I called 911 and then I left as soon as I hung up with the operator. I will NEVER go back to this park. Thank god there weren't any children in the park at this time because it would have been terrifying for them.

This park is huge!!!I remember going there back in the day and playing in the fountain! Going to the spillway and going down into the water! Man, the times! The park here is super large and there is A LOT to do here. The grass is always super green, theres always a ton of ducks and geese to feed, and there is a Frisbee golf course to go through. There are many family attractions here including Pueblo Zoo and the City Park Rides. These are seriously one of the most popular attractions in Pueblo during the summer and fall months! If you are a Pueblo native, you probably had your birthday here once or twice... during the summer beware of those hot slides though! They have ample amounts of playground areas as well as a skate park! This is definitely a Pueblo staple!Yay!

Great park, zoo and my personal favorite the City Park rides! Affordable family day all in one place. The new swings at the park are a great upgrade along with the new pool house. We have such beautiful weather that the park can be and is used pretty much year around.

Pueblo City Park is a great park to go hang out with family. The ducks and geese are fun to feed, take a bag of brad crumbs and enjoy feeding them by the lake. The zoo has really been upgraded and the animals are awesome. The kids love the lion exhibit. If you want a fun afternoon, visit Pueblo City Park. I had a great day.
