The staff is wonderfully friendly and it is a blast walking through the store and looking at the absolutely wonderful treasures in the store! New stock daily. We didn't find anything that suited us at the time but I know it's only a matter of time!

Platte is my favorite furniture store in the springs. They have the most unique selection and helpful staff. I also love how they discount items every 2 weeks. I would highly recommend checking out their website to monitor new inventory!

I guess it depends what you are looking for. It doesn't hurt to look but they are by no means "inexpensive" although they may have unique items or even "inexpensive" but these are one or two among 20 or more. I did buy a nice table here but I felt I over paid for it because I could have bought a new dinning set at Macy's for less. Anyway, I must say my table does look special.

An interesting and eclectic selection of furniture, well worth the time to peruse regularly. Prices are for the most part reasonable and the pieces vary from week to week. Various members of the fam were able to find things for their specific living spaces and there are lots of things I could pick up to add to our other locales. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Great place to pick up some really unique items as well as staples.

LOTS of stuff to look at. I found the array of furnishings and decor both the interesting and worth the time to hunt through. There's a variety of pieces to consider. Loved the variety and especially the used furniture. Purchased a piece for a remodel project. In my opinion, this is not the place to go for high end Italian pieces; this is the place to find a quality bargain. Sheridan, Thank you again for your support,Bill

I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this store. I have referred SEVERAL family and friends to this store. Never again.Platte Furniture lies and refuses to stand behind the word of their employees. Last week my wife and I spent $600 on area rugs at this store. Before we bought the rugs, we specifically asked the sales associate about discrepencies in signage regarding returns. The tag on the rugs said "24 hour return policy"; the sign behind the register says "7 day return policy for store credit." So we asked what the actual policy is. The sales associate told us, "Oh no, 24 hours for a cash refund, 7 days for store credit."We live more than an hour away for the store. We decided the rugs did not work in our space, and went to return the rugs on Day 7.The manager said, "I'm sorry, we don't take back rugs back after 24 hours."I said, "Well, we asked about that and were told 24 hours for a cash refund, 7 days for a store credit. We are fine with store credit, we shop here all the time."The manager simply said, "No, I am not taking it back. It has been more than 24 hours. It is about hygiene."I said, "Hygiene? You sell USED RUGS?!?"Manager, "Sorry, No."So, rather than make an exception for multi-return customer who was given bad information by store employees, Platte Furniture has decided this $99 rug was worth losing a customer and ending up with a review like this. I urge people to avoid this store. Make that the most expensive $99 rug this store ever sold.2/9/25 UPDATE on this Situation... the owner of Platte Furniture, Kyle, reached out to me this morning, after seeing my reviews. He apologized profusely, explained that it was a new salesperson and a new sales lead that we dealt with, and he will speak with both of them. He took full responsibility for the situation and agreed to do whatever we wanted to make it right. He also apologized that it took negative reviews to get him involved ans resolve the situation.I am taking him at his word and we will work with him to resolve it. We will likely take the store credit (although he did offer a cash refund), and will shop Platte Furniture again.

I was completely pleased with my visit to Platte Furniture. I was looking to purchase a mattress and there was a communication error. And when I arrived the mattress i wanted was sold. However, thanks to Desiree and Melinda, they made some calls and worked their magic and were able to allow me to walk out of the store with the mattress I wanted. The customer service at this store is amazing and their prices are great. I highly recommend checking out this store for mattresses and other furniture needs.

I have several pieces of furniture as well as a large rug from Platte.There is not another store in this county that will be more helpful, professional or have a selection of unusual, beautiful, quality creations. From my beautiful mission cupboard to my North Carolina hickory rocking chair and Amish made and signed bookcase, Platte is in every room in my home. I am going to visit them again next week for a recliner. Thanks for excellence. I love those folks!
