Pikes Peak Rock Shop

This store has quite a variety! I was looking to pick up some rocks from my trip to Colorado and was glad to have pulled into here. The people working the counter immediately alerted me to the sale they were having. Everything was half off and some of it with a special sticker was even cheaper. After walking into each room I finally settled on a small handful of stones and two larger pieces. I wound up spending 60 dollars. I thought it was well worth it. Knowledgeable staff and good prices. If you are into crystals and gemstones this place is for you. Highly recommended

First of all, the service was so nice! I thought the employees were super nice and supportive even though it was my first time coming. The shop was perfect for beginners (like myself) and I could find everything easily. They had so many different rocks, geodes, and so much more that were all priced reasonably. When we went there, everything was 50 and 75 percent off, so it was so nice! I totally recommend!!

This is the second time we've visited this little shop. When we are in CO we like to stop by to bring back some beautiful stones to TX . Things are reasonably priced and everyone is so friendly

I've been going through a lot of soul searching lately and was introduced to rocks and crystals to help with different obstacles that life can throw at you. Today my children and I decided to go and check out the "mountain rock shop" which we have done several time, but this time I was on a mission. The moment I walked in I was overwhelmed. I didn't know exactly what I wanted or needed. A young lady by the name Jade helped us. She was patient, kind and really knew what she was talking about. This has been the best experience I have had anywhere in a very long time. A huge thank you to jade for her love and kindness. We will definitely be back!

Came by here on a whim while on vacation and was happily surprised by the amount of crystals/rocks crammed into this shop and by the reasonable pricing. From the outside it seemed very small but inside there were a few different rooms that had a wide variety of product.I was very into the crystal jewelry section closer to the front door and was happily surprised to learn that they were having a 50% sale on all the jewelry items on the displays (not in the glass cases, sadly). Also enjoyed browsing the many free form crystals, the wind chimes, and the larger pieces that could be used for display purposes or for book ends. Don't miss the Native American art in the room to the right of the cash register!Crystals in hand, I was even happier when they took credit cards and that they had complimentary boxes for my new goodies that are perfect for gifting. Would come back!

I (use to) adore this shop. But the weekends started to get way too busy so I was stopping in when I would get time off during the week. The young girls working at that time of day had never been helpful or friendly. Then covid hit and prices went up (understandably so). I've called in the past to see if they had a specific stone and was told "maybe next week". But my last venture out here was the nail in the coffin. My friend and I drove an hour to get there August 11th. We arrived at three. The door was not opening, as if it was stuck. A nice gentleman in a car yelled to us to push hard, that they were indeed open. Then he said to try the lock at the top. Finally someone came to open the door. She unlocked and opened the door to peak out, full mask on, loads of people inside and told us that they "were closing until 3:30 so they could take their legal 30 minute lunch break"! Apparently she likes to throw around laws at her convenience, because you are not to lock business doors during working hours. They seemingly did not want to take turns to break for lunch, as the older ladies do on the weekends. So we figure, we just drove an hour to specially come to the store, so we decided to hit up another rock shop in the area for a half hour. We finished there and went back. Parking was packed, again, so I decided to park at the end. There was the same rude employee standing by a cone and open gate. I thought, there's enough room for me to park that leaves the gateway wide open. I start to pull in and she get a hyper look in her face, shakes her head no, then sighs and rolls her eyes at me for turning to park!!!!! She has the audacity to approach my car telling me to not park there because her "boss is coming with a big truck to pull into the gate". Advised I "just park across the street" to give him room!! Well, my blood was boiling over at this point and I pulled out and left... She does not deserve my hard earned money. After all, TWICE this girl told me to go away, all for her convenience. I have spent hundreds of dollars at this shop yearly, even buying a $400.00 crystal ball. I can assure you, this was my last stop ever at this business. Good prices or not, her attitude and lack of wanting to make a sale, killed this long time buyer desire to purchase there. I will go another hour to Cañon City for my rock shop needs!

Pretty entertaining selection and got some bags of rocks for the kids. I'd passed this a few times while going to Pikes Peak for work and never had a reason to go in until I brought my kids out. They have a lot of interesting items and lots of hand-made articles as well.

Great prices and friendly people with a great variety of rocks and crystals. It's my favorite place to shop in Manitou Springs

A great beginner and pro rock and mineral shop. Everything was 50% when I was there. I could have spent hours in the store.

My experience here was absolutely incredible. There are so many great crystals to choose from but what made it even more enjoyable is that I felt welcomed the moment I walked in. Everyone is so kind, helpful and fun. Just great energy all around and feels like a happy crystal kingdom lol. Will be back :)
