Pick Axe Pizza

I found this place on Yelp of course! The whole set up is a bar slash restaurant type feel. We sat at the bar. Our serve which was the bartender was the most sweetest ever and so helpful. For our appetizer we got stuffed jalapeño peppers The breading was perfect and crisp and the pepper wasn't hot at all and filled w so much gooey cheese. The ranch we used was definitely house made and just so creamy. Then for our main dish we got two small specialty pizzas. One was a taco pizza and the other was the pesto chicken pizza. The taco pizzas had beans, ground beef, cheese, lettuce, black olives and this taco sauce. It was very freaking good minus the taco sauce. I definitely was not a fan of it but the rest of it was absolutely delicious and tasted just like a . The chicken pesto pizza was perfect. Like I've said in other reviews, I am a pesto lover. So anything pesto I just love. The pizza was cooked in a brick oven and the crust was perfect on both pizzas. Kind of close to a thin pizza but not super thin. If that makes any sense. Overall a delightful experience

Shut up shut up shut up. The fish is perfectly crispy, the fries are perfect, the wings are perfect... everything is crispy without being insanely oily. Everything on the menu is a gold mine. YOU MUST try this dive. SHELBY, in particular, is one of best hostesses I've ever met. Aaaahhhh! I can't exclaim enough about how amazing this place is.

Dare I say - Pick Axe Pizza is better than Beau Jo's! We've been to both restaurants a handful of times and find ourselves loving Pick Axe way more. The thinner crust is great, but what really makes it is the sauce! The sauce packs tons of flavor packed into every bite.Service is always super quick and they have about 10 beers on tap.

We always go to a different pizza restaurant in Idaho springs that's more well known. Today I wanted to try a restaurant that has coke products because the other one has Pepsi which is not my favorite. This place is great! The cheese bread was awesome and their marinara is delicious. I couldn't even eat any of my Stromboli because I was already full. I'm looking forward to eating it later. The service was also super friendly and attentive.

Super delicious pizza!!We ordered the Cajun Bacon Ranch Pizza. The server Travis was friendly and attentive. We liked the music that was playing too. Definitely worth a visit.

Our server Travis was amazing. So friendly and willing to answer any of the 50+ questions I am sure we asked him! He is definitely an asset! Food was great also, love the variety of the menu. Lots to choose from. 10 out of 10, will eat here again!

The vibes here are everything! The service is amazing, food is great, and all the employees are absolutely wonderful. Specific shoutout to Travis the bartender, he makes stellar drinks and he is just overall a great bartender!!

Dank sticks are out of this world! Great ambience in a historic building! Servers and locals were a lot of fun!

Love the pizza here and the servers/bartenders. If they have a mess up they always make it right. Shoutout to Travis for being awesome!

The only reasons I am leaving this review are, 1, me and my family were starving after going white water rafting. And we were sitting, waiting for our food for around 45 minutes. And 2, as the food was excellent, but my fries were overcooked and blackened. They forgot to put the bun on my cheeseburger while the waitress stood at the end of the bar and ate with her fingers and handed me the burger bun they forgot! Not to mention she was chewing her food while asking me if I needed anything else! No hands were washed while dealing publicly handling our food and others?
