Petrie's Family Games

One of our favorite aspects of the store is the used games section. They are in awesome condition and are priced inexpensively. It's a good shop for gifts and family games. They host Pokémon, Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons in a very comfortable gaming space. Thursday is board game night.

We love this place. The employees are always so nice and helpful and the game selection is great given the small size of the store. They're careful about the number of people allowed in at any one time and ensure everyone is wearing masks.

Excellent game store, one of the best in town. 1. It's clean! The store is clean, well lit, and organized. Their play space is seperate from the retail space which is excellent. 2. Great board game selection. They also have sealed product for most popular CCG, TCG, and LCG games. No Warhammer, but they do have minis for X-Wing, Imperial Assault, and others. 3. Regular events with great turnout. MtG, X-Wing, Destiny, and many other games are played on a weekly basis. Check out their boardgame night on Thursdays as well. The owner is heavily focused on community building and will work with you to get events started for your game if they aren't already hosting it. 4. Very family friendly, and just friendly in general. Petrie's attracks a very positive crowd and the community works hard to make sure that the store is open and inviting to everyone.

This is one of the most amazing places in the city. It's a family-friendly game store...meaning it's bright and not dungeony, although occasionally you will find a troll or two here. They have games in the back room you can pull out and play with the kids - for free - and if you want it you can rent it and take it home for a few nights. There's board game night, Magic night, RPG night, miniature night, and other things to scratch your game itches. The owner is a great guy too. Ask for Cameron and he'll help you find a game your family will enjoy.

Love this store. Workers are passionate about their product. Decent selection and pricing is average. Best part is they carry and accept gently used games.They have good dice games, card games and board games. We asked Cameron for a suggestion for playing with our 5 year old (explained what we played with him Risk Legacy, Smallworld, etc) and he suggested King of Tokyo. Completely different from all other games we play but is awesome. Thanks Cameron!

Friendly staff- from giving me directions when my GPS was wonky, to assisting my son set up a Pokémon deck and play. We've been to some sketchy comic/game stores and this is NOT one of them. Pleasant atmosphere, clean, well lit and organized. Everyone we encountered was very kind and patient. You can tell the employees love their job and what they do, and are passionate about raising the next gen of gamers. Patient in teaching kids. Looking forward to returning, I am glad they will reinstate their Pokémon afternoons. Really impressive collection of board games!!

Very helpful and friendly staff! I only ever go in for basic small items they don't profit much on but they never mind and are always willing to have a good conversation. Will continue to go back for the staff and lower than average pricing on items.

Fantastic store with amazing selection, but even better, the community of players and staff to help you learn games like lorcana or magic make this the best place to play. I have never seen a card shop this wonderful to visit.

This is a great store with possibly the friendliest employees in a game store I've visited in the Springs. They're very helpful when looking for Magic cards; I've come in with a list and they helped me look through boxes themselves, even for commons. The pre-release events are top notch and well managed. Keeping this vague, the owners and employees have a lot of integrity. There was an issue with one of my purchases and they were quick to resolve it well. It's how they handled that situation that will keep me coming back for a long time. Would recommend.

Great selection of paints - stocked frequently.Many board games and miniatures for tabletops.Has quite a few events in a separate enclosed room that actually holds the noise quite well. They were having some sort of event the night we went in and even with a packed game room I almost forgot they were had it
