Persephone Grae's Cafe & Juice Bar

My husband and I were looking for a place to have a late lunch and sit down after hiking the Manitou Incline. Persephone Grae's was about to close and took us in 10 minutes before closing - I had their signature salad (delish) and my husband had the Reuben with potato chips. Both were delicious and devoured! I ordered an Italian soda with blackberry and thought they would serve it up with Torani syrup but no...they put FRESH blackberries in it and then splashed a tiny bit of vanilla in to sweeten it. Can't say enough how they came through for us and were so kind!

Cute little place on the main Street. You order at the counter and grab a seat. Seems like cleaning is a challenge as tables seems to have dirty plates on them often. Might just be the timing. I ordered the baker salad with shrimp and a mimosa. Not the cheapest place but it worked. The salad was a nice size and tasted pretty ok. Overall not bad. They do have beer and wine. They also have fresh squeezed juices and coffee.

Great cafe in Manitou! I found this place through Yelp and it did not fail. Walk in and order first then find a seat and they'll bring the food out to you. It wasn't too busy when we arrived so we were able to find some good seats in the patio area. While we were waiting for our food I grabbed a board game and played a few rounds. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. I'd definitely come back and eat here again.

Very nice. Would definitely come back again. Sat on patio ordered the Reuben and the French dip and their homemade potato chips. All were very good reasonably priced quick seating and friendly staff. Nice selection of local breweries as well

5/5 star for Food, Service, and Ambiance at Persephone Grae's. I love this place. There are many cool art for sale on the wall. The restaurant is cute and clean. No wonder why I see many students come here to eat, drink coffee, and study! The service is excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and my meal was cooked perfectly. Coffee is hot and yummy! Thank you so much for cooking me a great meal which prepared me to go on a hike. Highly recommended!

Great food and drink in a cute town. This is an easy and affordable place to go if exploring Manitou Springs and especially post Incline hike.

I mean, tasty food. Really enjoy it when my order is correct. However, first time here, I asked for no onions on my $15 salad. They take it back to the kitchen and attempt to scrape some off. It took complaining again to have it fixed correctly. A few good visits in between. Skip to today- 2 sandwiches (made wrong), chips and ranch (supposed to be cheese), and 2 pancakes. $48 and 3/4 items incorrect. We really enjoy supporting local any time we can, but for already overpriced food, it's unacceptable to be wrong almost every time.

The sandwiches are fantastic (in particular, the Miss Piggy and Manitou Gobbler) as are the homemade potato chips. However, I'm not a fan of hidden fees. It wasn't until I reviewed my receipt later that I saw I was charged a 3.5% "inflation fee!" I'm a local and do what I can to support our local businesses but that really turned me off. Either raise your prices or disclose up front about the added fee.

Before I go into what went wrong, I want to say that the servers and staff here are friendly and awesome. However, three of us ordered salads which came out wrong. Two were missing the mandarin oranges and not served on the mixed greens as advertised. When we asked, they didn't even have Mandarin oranges despite them being in the salad description. The Cobb salad was missing the blue cheese. We asked for some but the cheese they brought out was spoiled. They did provide two free juices to compensate us for the disappointment, and those were delicious. Just make sure you avoid salads if you come here!

Food was absolutely delicious!! The cafe is cozy and welcoming along with quick service! We enjoyed the Reuben, French dip, and a breakfast sandwich, all of which were delicious! Definitely a must to stop by and grab some lunch!
